I’m qualified and experienced Hypnotherapist, Coach & Integrative Therapist. (My Psychotherapeutic qualifications include CBT, Gestalt, Person-centred therapy, Jungian, Psychodynamic & Transactional analysis). In addition to Hypnotherapy, I offer clients integrative psychotherapy, coaching, mindfulness, meditation, and stress management, and 1to1 psychedelic integration sessions. My clinical specialties include: Anxiety (including health anxiety, public speaking anxiety & OCD), stress management, burnout (prevention & recovery), insomnia, low self-esteem, voice and breathwork, sexual issues, issues around belonging and identity, depression, chronic illness, mind/body disorders. I’m trauma qualified & certified to work with trauma and PTSD, women’s sexual health issues, and as a psychedelic experience integration facilitator. I regularly work with & can also help with drinking & eating issues, compulsions and addictions.
My therapeutic approach is… Person centred = we’re on equal terms, two human beings talking in a room! Other than sharing my knowledge, I go to lengths to avoid coming across with an ‘authoritarian’ stance. (I consider every person’s unique strengths.. inviting you to collaborate with me on your healing journey). Integrative = I have a tool box of different psychotherapeutic modalities and have many theories to draw on. This means I won’t try to ‘fit you into’ my way of doing things, and I can adapt to what suits you. Holistic = I look at the issue from 360 degrees, and consider all elements (Physical, psychological, social, environmental), which may be impacting a person’s wellbeing. Solution /outcome focused = I don’t want to waste your time & money! I aim to deliver the results you are seeking to reach a desired goal, rather than just having interesting, analytical, counselling conversations which may be insightful but not lead to any desired changes. I abide by the GHR and the UKCP code of ethics; and am a fully qualified and fully accredited member of the GHSH. The UKCP is one of the most stringent governing/accrediting bodies in the UK for psychotherapy and counselling. I have a creative background. Before training as a therapist, I worked extensively as a comedy writer/performer and voice over. I’m the originator and creator of ‘Comedy for stress management’ programmes, I created comedy for stress management programmes for Surrey County Council and Mind UK, and the 'Comedy in NLP' series of workshops with a fellow hypnotherapist.
