I know how daunting and anxiety provoking the prospect of starting therapy can be. By finding yourself here you have recognised that there may be areas in your life you would like to address. Recognising this is the biggest step of the therapeutic process. I am an integrative therapist and believe one style of therapy does not suit everyone; we all need different things at different points in our lives depending on our situation and struggles. Therapy is about finding a way to express yourself and communicate feelings. Finding the right words can be difficult, but by working together I can help find these and explore the feelings that can arise using different tools to suit your needs. Though therapy is a serious process often filled with high emotions, I believe at times there can be space for light heartedness. Everyone deserves to be heard. I seek to support and work collaboratively to enable you to develop a better awareness of yourself and your relationships with others. Whatever your reason for deciding to commence therapy I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore issues and experiences that are important or difficult. By sharing experiences, voicing feelings and working with me, I work to help you through both the difficult and “eureka” moments of therapy to empower you to make positive changes to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I am an intergative therapist combining may approaches, depending on my clients needs, personality and what I feel would suit them best as we get to know eachother. These approaches include talk therapy, CBT, person centred, psychoanalytic, just to name a few. I am a strong believer that one style of therapy does not suit us all depending on our own needs.
I have lots of experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of issues and diagnoses including: abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, identity, relationship or work problems, bipolar, ADHD and personality disorders.
