I'm a person-centred psychotherapist working both in person and online. I offer a creative and collaborative approach. I believe that everyone has a natural tendency for growth and change when given the opportunity and space to get in touch with their potential. Due to my personal and professional experiences, I have a special interest in working with anxiety and stress, depression, identity issues and life transitions, challenges of being an expat/ migrant, chronic health conditions and illnesses (e.g. chronic fatigue syndrome, PCOS, premature ovarian insufficiency, endometriosis), trauma (including childhood trauma, domestic abuse, gender-based violence, intergenerational trauma), relationship issues and work-related issues.
The therapeutic relationship you and I develop can become a safe space where you can make sense of your experiences, learn more about yourself and allow new understandings and perspectives to emerge. I am committed to working with you to help you gain a greater sense of empowerment and give you a space that it’s just yours. I am not here to diagnose or fix problems, but to listen and explore with you what is going on. If you like the idea, we may also integrate creative approaches, including visualisation, journaling and art materials to bring further clarity to what you’re feeling. I can also support you to focus on and better understand the connection between your embodied and physical experiences and your thoughts and feelings.
I have moved from Italy to attend university in London, where I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. After working for some time in primary and SEN schools, I decided to train in psychotherapy. I have worked in charities where I have helped people with a wide range of issues including traumatic experiences, and chronic health conditions. I have also supported people struggling with the stress of work and relationships, with identity issues, and with life transitions in the context of the current socio-political, environmental, and financial difficulties.
