I am a clinical psychologist with extensive experience of helping adults through a range of life challenges, emotional, psychological, and relational difficulties – predominantly within the NHS, and more recently in private practice. I understand that anybody can experience periods of distress and life can throw challenges that are difficult to navigate. Examples of issues that I have supported people with include low mood, depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD, psychosis, low self-esteem, insomnia, trauma, interpersonal issues, abuse, grief, loss, stress, chronic health conditions, being a carer, and issues around identity.

I offer a compassionate and reflective space where we can work together to make sense of the experiences in your life, understand their impact, and find helpful ways to move forwards. My doctorate training has equipped me to draw upon a number of evidence-based psychological therapies so we can think together about which approach might fit well for you. I understand that finding a therapist to speak with about personal issues might feel daunting, at the very least, so it is important that I am somebody who you feel safe and comfortable with. If you would like to see if we could work together, you are very welcome to email me to arrange a free 15-minute telephone consultation.
