Therapists
Whether you're facing a crisis, aiming to improve your quality of life, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can help you navigate the experience. As a psychodynamic psychotherapist my therapeutic approach centres on exploring the unconscious and often overlooked processes that influence our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Together, we'll work to uncover patterns in your life and to build an understanding of the interplay between your past experiences and current struggles. Therapy is a collaborative process, the insight gained can help us to look at life from a different perspective, to develop a better understanding and acceptance of ourselves and to foster more meaningful relationships.
When you work with me, I will offer you a warm and authentic space. My aim is for you to feel safe, and able to share your intimate thoughts and problems without judgement. I work both in-person and online. For in-person work I am based in Wimbledon, in comfortable rooms, walking distance from Wimbledon station. I offer shorter-term (3-6 months) and longer-term open-ended therapy. We can discuss this during the initial assessment session. Sessions are 50 minutes long and will occur at an agreed, regular time each week
I have a Masters in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of London, and a certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the WPF. I am currently training in Mentalisation-Based Therapy with the Anna Freud Centre and in ecopsychology and Nature-Based Practice with the view to offering outdoor sessions in 2025. I have experience working within the NHS and community counselling services.
