From time to time life can throw us off course, we might feel confused, overwhelmed, stuck or alone. It is not always easy to talk to friends and family. The counselling relationship offers a confidential, safe and consistent space to share and work through the problems we can find hard to bring up with others. I am here to listen to you and accept you warmly for the person you are. Together we will work collaboratively on whatever you wish to bring to therapy. Giving yourself this space and time, to take a deeper look into aspects in-which you feel stuck or disempowered can bring about the real change you desire. I provide short-term and open-ended therapy in Wimbledon or online. I also offer walk & talk therapy in Wimbledon Common.
As an Integrative therapist and Life Coach I will work flexibly according to your needs. This means I draw upon a variety approaches depending on which will most effectively help you. These include person-centred, psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Solution Focused Brief therapy. My approach is warm and empathetic. I will support you to process your experiences, and uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, helping you develop effective strategies to manage your symptoms and move forward. Thus, allowing you rebuild a secure sense of self that keeps you calm and centred.
I have a Psychology degree and am accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As such I comply with the ethical codes of this institution, alongside the requirement for ongoing supervision and professional development. I have experience in supporting clients that have faced issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, family issues, low self-esteem and life transitions.
