Therapists
Hi, I'm David Cervera, an integrative counsellor based in South West London. With a background in pastoral care and the arts, I specialise in supporting creatives, deep thinkers, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals who have felt out of place in religious spaces. My practice offers a warm, grounded environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, free from judgement.
My approach is client-centred and down-to-earth, focusing on areas such as spiritual trauma, faith transitions, identity, anxiety, burnout, low self-worth, and the effects of discrimination or abuse. If you're navigating the in-between spaces of life and seeking support, I'm here to walk alongside you. While much of my work centres on spiritual trauma, faith transitions, and identity, I also support clients facing: - Anxiety and burnout - Low self-worth - Relationship challenges - Experiences of racism, discrimination, bullying, or abuse
I have extensive training and experience working with diversity and difference, I've worked with people from different backgrounds and nationalities in my therapeutic work. As a white male therapist, I acknowledge my power and privilege and make self-reflection and self-awareness a fundamental part of my practice. My qualifications include Level 3 in Counselling Skills and Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
