Therapists
I'm an integrative therapist with experience working with the NHS and in private practice, helping clients with anxiety, ADHD, depression, low self-esteem, abuse and trauma, grief and bereavement, work related stress, identity and relationship difficulties.
I bring a gentle and empathic presence, where no story or difficulty is too small or too big to share and there is no judgement. I am an integrative therapist which means I will listen to you and your needs and use therapeutic tools and theories that can be most relevant and beneficial to you. I believe there is no one size that fits all. I combine Person-centred, Gestalt and Psychodynamic approaches in my practice. Depending on what you bring to the therapy, I may encourage you to look at early experiences to bring understanding that can help to initiative positive changes. If you are open to it, we may try some breathing or other body awareness exercises to bring the focus to your experience in the here-and-now and connect with the emotions or parts of yourself that may have been deeply hidden, to enable the process of healing.
I trained as an integrative therapist and gained experience working with the NHS Talking Therapies. My background is in finance roles within social and environmental non-profits, where I have led and developed teams. My emphasis has always been on creating an environment in which each team member has a voice and where their unique personality and strengths are valued and built upon to empower and enable growth.
