Therapists

I have worked therapeutically with teenagers for more than 15 years in the NHS, state schools and private education sector. In 2016 I qualified as a child & adolescent therapist and I am registered with the BACP. Working with young people as they go through the more painful chapters of their adolescence has always been, and continues to be, a privilege and an honour that I take great care and sensitivity in.

As an integrative therapist I offer a holistic approach that is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual. My therapy framework is informed by psychodynamic, person centered and systemic models and is influenced by attachment and inter-cultural work. In my practice, counselling is a collaborative experience whereby myself and the young person explore and think together about their current struggles. I actively listen, seek to deeply understand and validate experiences, provide observations and create opportunities for reflection. This process allows the individual to gain insight into their situations, identify coping strategies and foster personal growth. I have experience in many common & difficult struggles that can occur during adolescence, including but not limited to: anxiety, bereavement, relational challenges (with self or others), identity exploration, low moods and third culture kid difficulties.

I am a qualified integrative therapist working with young people in a respectful, collaborative and hopeful way. I am a great fit for teenagers and families who value the importance of individual expression & exploration and want an empathetic therapist who understands the complexities of growing up.
