I am a wife, mother, grandmother, artist, writer and psychodynamically trained therapist. My professional journey has been rich and varied, spanning a career as a commercial solicitor and an Executive Director in the not-for-profit sector. Like many, I have navigated my own life challenges and therapy has been a profound tool in helping me live more intentionally, making choices that align with who I truly am. This personal experience fuels my passion for helping others do the same.

I offer a safe, supportive and non judgmental space, where we will build a trusting relationship to explore what has brought you to therapy. Together, we will unpack your thoughts and feelings, gaining insight into how they shape your decisions and influence the way you live your life. As a psychodynamic therapist, I believe that many of the struggles we face stem from early experiences that shape how we see ourselves, others and the world. These unconscious patterns can limit our potential and make life's inevitable challenges at times feel overwhelming. In our work together we will look at those early experiences to understand how past relationships and patterns may have shaped your ways of thinking, feeling and protecting yourself. Sometimes, these early coping strategies no longer serve us well in adult life, especially in our personal and professional relationships. I won't offer advice or solutions, but I will listen deeply, provide insights and gently challenge certain patterns of thought when appropriate. The goal is to help you reflect on whether these long held ways of being still support you, or whether they may be limiting your potential, by keeping you stuck. Therapy can be challenging and at times painful, as we work through and process past hurts and difficult emotions. However, the process of becoming more self-aware, of living a conscious, intentional life rather than reacting to old patterns, can be deeply rewarding. Our work together will be collaborative. In this space, all parts of you can be explored with curiosity and care. Healing past wounds and gaining clarity and agency, can open the door to you creating a more fulfilling, considered, self-compassionate and authentic life.
