I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor and therapist offering short and long-term therapy for adults and older adults both in-person in Clapham Junction, Wandsworth and online. I work with a wide range of adults from across London, particularly in Wandsworth, Tooting, Earlsfield, and Putney. I also work for a local NHS Talking Therapy Service. I provide a warm, calm, and empathetic space both in person and online for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, no matter how complex or painful these may be. I am extremely interested in relationships and how we communicate with those around us; how we cope with stress in the workplace and juggle the continual demands of family life. I also sensitively support adults and older adults who are struggling with life changes and transitions. Maybe you are contemplating a second career, or wanting to study or retire? Perhaps you feel bereft and finding it hard to adjust to your children going to university or leaving home? Perhaps you have a parent with dementia or a serious illness and feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of caring for them as well as supporting your almost adult children prepare for looming A Levels and GCSEs? Do you yearn for more time with your partner? Or crave independence and freedom? Are you mourning intimacy? Are you continuing to struggle in what feels like an ever challenging neurotypical world? If one or more of these issues feels familiar then I may be the therapist for you. It is my hope that we forge a trusting and non-judgmental relationship and that our therapeutic work helps you to develop your self-awareness, support your well-being, enhance your autonomy and self-compassion.

As an integrative counsellor I use a range of modalities and approaches to address your needs in the way that best suits you. My role is to listen to you, support you to be curious, reflect and self-explore as you try to find meaning in this often confusing and overwhelming world. You may be lonely, or in need of someone to talk to. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed or unfulfilled. You may be experiencing ongoing conflict in your relationship, struggling with grief, sadness, or exhaustion. You may be feeling stuck and wanting to bring about changes. Working together we will try to make meaning as you share your story with me. I am interested in your early attachment stories and relational experiences. It is likely we will explore how the past has impacted your current relationships and shapes the patterns and life-long thinking of your adult life. My wish is that our therapeutic work will encourage you to look within, deepen your curiosity and encourage you to feel more secure, self-aware, and self-accepting as you navigate the pressures, challenges, and adjustments of everyday life.

After a lengthy teaching career in a local inner-city state secondary school I understand the vast impact that work pressures and intense scrutiny place on our mental health as well as on our relationships with our children, partners, and parents. Having completed a second training I am now a BACP registered integrative counsellor committed to supporting my clients. I offer a therapeutic weekly opportunity for you to talk, share and explore in a confidential and safe space without judgement.
