Therapists

Hello, and welcome. I am a Clinical Psychologist, born in London and with roots in Cyprus. I work with people who are experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, stress, phobias, and relationship difficulties. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community. Whether this is your first time in therapy, or you are simply looking for a new space to talk and process, I understand that starting therapy and finding the right therapist for you can feel overwhelming. My approach focuses on creating a safe, warm and non-judgemental space where you can explore what it is that has brought you here.

I work with people who come with a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, phobias, or questions about identity including gender and sexuality. Sometimes these challenges have been around for a long time, and sometimes they feel new. You may function brilliantly in some areas of your life, but find that other areas are a struggle. I work integratively in my approach, tailoring it to work alongside your goals and needs. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based practice, Systemic Theory, trauma-informed approaches, and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Whatever the model, I aim to be warm and nurturing, and to offer you the space that you need.

I have worked for the NHS for 7 years in a number of settings, including working with children, families, adults and older adults. I currently work in an NHS Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service. I hold a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society. I am also registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
