I am a Specialist Cognitive Psychotherapist for NHS Chronic Pain and Respiratory Clinic with over 17 years of experience and in depth understanding of the mental and emotional challenges faced by individuals, particularly in the realms of chronic pain, addictions and the effects of long terms conditions including post COVID-19 syndrome.As a former athlete I also welcome professional and amateur athletes seeking to improve performance or manage various life challenges.
In the light of the ongoing global health challenges, my practice has expanded to address the specific needs of individuals grappling with the effects of Long COVID. Through specialized assessments and tailored interventions, I aim to alleviate the associated mental health concerns and enhance the overall quality of life for my clients. My qualifications in Psychotherapy and Mindfulness Based Interventions enable me to integrate the principles of mindfulness into the therapeutic process, providing a holistic approach to mental wellness. The core of my expertise lies in Third Wave Interventions of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) such us Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), methodologies known for their effectiveness in navigating the challenges of depression, anxiety and long term health conditions.
