Therapists

There are many different reasons why people experience low mood, stress, anxiety, self-doubt and self-criticism. Starting therapy can be a courageous step towards overcoming these challenges. I am here to help you understand the root causes and heal from past experiences. My therapeutic approach is centred around the idea that our early life experiences shape the views we hold about ourselves, others and the world around us, and subsequently the process of reflecting on and, where helpful, changing the ways in which we have learned to cope. In therapy, I create a safe space to explore any difficulties, building a trusting relationship and a platform that enables you to develop useful coping skills and empowers you reach your full potential and live a more meaningful and connected life.

I am deeply committed to working in line with these values across my private practice and NHS work, supporting adults, parents and children to navigate through the complexities of life. As a result of my extensive training, I provide a high-quality service of talking therapy. I can offer or combine a range of therapies, depending on what you need. These range from Narrative, Systemic and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, including "third-wave" approaches such as Compassion-Focused (CFT) and Acceptance & Commitment (ACT) Therapy. I interweave psychoanalytic theory to support a deeper knowledge and understanding of an individual's difficulties. My additional BABCP accreditation ensures specialised Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and "third-wave" approaches where needed. Together, we can identify your goals & tailor therapy to your needs. We may address anxiety/low mood around anger, social/relational difficulties, low self-esteem, perfectionism, trauma, OCD, pregnancy, panic, health and neurological conditions. Please feel free to get in touch & book a free initial consultation with our team to see if we'd be a good fit.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Durham University before achieving a distinction in my Masters degree in Mental Health Studies at Kings College University of London. I completed my Doctorate training in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway University of London, during which I worked with a range of complexity and diverse client groups across mental health services in London, including crisis assessment and treatment teams, inpatient units, chronic pain management, child and adolescent mental health, community neuropsychology and trauma response services. Although I have experience working across a wide range of mental health services in London and am specialised in a variety of treatment models, my main interests lie around supporting parents, children and young people, and individuals and families living with long-term physical health and neurological conditions.
