Hi, I’m Hamilton (he/they), a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent therapist. I offer a warm, grounded and accepting space where all parts of you are welcome. Clients often come to me when something feels off in their relationships - whether with partners, family, work, or with themselves. You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lost or like you’re constantly performing. We’ll slow down and make space for your feelings, questions and needs, without judgement or pressure to be any particular way. I specialise in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, those navigating relationship difficulties, and high-achieving individuals who feel they’ve lost touch with their own needs. Many of the people I work with are also neurodivergent or exploring identity. My clients describe me as calm, gentle and attuned. I offer online, phone and in-person sessions in Wimbledon and Clapham. We can begin with a free 20-minute consultation so you can see if I’m the right fit for you.
My work is person-centred, which means we make space for you - your experience, your pace, your priorities. I believe you already have the wisdom and strength within you, and therapy can help reconnect you with that. I won’t analyse, fix or direct you. Instead, I offer presence, empathy and respectful curiosity as we explore whatever matters most to you. My approach is inclusive and trauma-aware, with a deep understanding of how shame, stress and systemic oppression can affect how we feel in the world and in our bodies. I work well with clients who feel tender, burnt out, uncertain or like they’re carrying too much. You'll have a space to talk things through, laugh, cry, use metaphor or gentle creativity - whatever supports your process. We'll go at your pace and there'll be no expectations. I offer therapy that is collaborative, affirming and real. My aim is to support you in feeling more at home in yourself and more connected in your life.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a range of fast-paced and high-pressure environments - including the arts, education, corporate and academic sectors. I know what it’s like to strive, to mask, and to hold everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed inside. I’m also LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent, and these lived experiences shape the compassionate, inclusive and non-pathologising space I aim to offer. I’ve worked therapeutically in private practice and organisations for nearly 10 years. I’ve completed a BA (Hons) and Clinical Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, and hold additional certifications in creative and online therapy. I also train therapists and write in the field of counselling and psychotherapy. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy nature, musicals, and time with my dog. I aim to bring openness, warmth and grounded presence into my work, and I care deeply about creating therapy spaces that are inclusive and affirming for all.
