Therapists
Hi, I’m Natalie Diamond. I have spent over 2 decades working in the television broadcast sector as a Production Manager. To best describe that role, would be to tell you that they are like the gaffer tape that brings everything together, from crew, facilities, managing workflows, liaising with clients and stakeholders managing the budget purse strings and most of all managing expectations. You have to build effective and good working relationships to get ahead. You have to be fully committed go the extra mile, work long hours and be able to multi tasks in a high paced demanding environment. I’ve had a rewarding career that has seen me travel, work with an array of companies, meet fantastic colleagues and work with talented individuals. While I enjoy working in TV I also enjoy being able to help others help themselves I trained to become a Cognitive Hypnotherapist with the prestigious Quest Institute, Regents college London, and have since qualified as a master practioner moving beyond therapy and into coaching and I carry out regular CPD keeping my knowledge and skills up to date. The brain is fascinating and the stories we tell ourselves are even more fascinating. The positive is that each day we have the ability to re-write our story we don’t have to be bound to the shackles of the past. From today, should you choose it, you can be whoever you want to be and free from your problem. My Journey I have truly enjoyed my journey as a therapist so far. When I first began, I didn’t know how it would unfold, but along the way, I’ve met so many incredible clients—each with their own unique challenges. No two people ever arrive with the same kind of anxiety, confidence issue, or fear. That uniqueness is what makes this work so rewarding. Cognitive Hypnotherapy has taught me to be adaptable—like water—flowing with what each client brings and responding to their individual needs. Life can easily throw us off track; pressures build, negative thought patterns creep in, and unhelpful behaviours may start to take hold. Anxiety, in particular, is something I see so often in my community—and it’s no surprise, given the expectations we place on ourselves. Why Therapy Matters I believe that as a society, we are moving further away from our natural state of balance, and as a result, many of us are suffering. Therapy isn’t only for those in crisis—it’s for everyone. It can help keep us grounded, reframe our perspective, and bring clarity when life feels overwhelming. Importantly, therapy doesn’t end when a session finishes. It’s part of a process of continued personal development—a commitment to yourself. My role is to help you uncover the tools and perspective you already hold within, so that you can continue your growth and change long after the session is over.
As a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, I work with the understanding that we all experience natural trance states every day. For example, have you ever driven to work while thinking about a meeting later that day, or replaying a conversation from the night before? That state of focused attention is a form of trance—and it can be used to create real, positive change. I combine different techniques to support my clients: Timeline Therapy – A powerful and effective way of reframing past experiences, fears, or trauma so they no longer hold the same power. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – Helping to shift the unhelpful language and self-talk we use in daily life, creating the space for new, healthier behaviours. At the heart of my work is the belief that our thoughts create our feelings, and our feelings shape our behaviours. By changing how we think, we can create lasting change in how we live.
For over two decades, I worked in the television broadcast sector as a Production Manager. To best describe that role, I often say we’re like the gaffer tape that holds everything together. From coordinating crew and facilities, managing workflows, and liaising with clients and stakeholders, to balancing budgets and expectations—everything needs to come together seamlessly. It required building strong relationships, going the extra mile, working long hours, and juggling multiple tasks in a high-paced, demanding environment. It was a rewarding career that gave me the opportunity to travel, collaborate with talented individuals, and work with some truly inspiring companies. While I enjoyed the challenges of TV production, I also found deep fulfilment in helping others grow and succeed. My Journey into Therapy My curiosity about the mind and personal development began in my early 20s, when I attended NLP lectures with David Shephard. Over the years, I reached out to therapy myself at different stages to help me navigate both personal and professional challenges. This experience inspired me to train as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist with the prestigious Quest Institute at Regent’s College, London. Of course, my journey hasn’t always been plain sailing. Growing up with dyslexia—at a time when it wasn’t widely recognised—meant I had little support in my early years. This led to low confidence and self-esteem. Fortunately, later in higher education, I had access to excellent tutors and therapists who helped me rebuild my confidence and determination. Their support became a turning point in my life. My Passion Today I now combine my professional experience and personal journey to support others. Alongside Cognitive Hypnotherapy, I offer dyslexia coaching for children, teens, and adults who are struggling with low self-esteem and confidence. Having walked that path myself, I understand how challenging it can be—but I also know the transformation that’s possible with the right guidance and support. I also work with those facing workplace stress, overwhelm, and burnout. Having experienced the pressure and high expectations of corporate life, I know how important it is to have tools and strategies that keep you balanced, resilient, and focused.
