I’m a qualified counsellor passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges. I offer a safe, warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and reaching out for help is a brave first step. My role is to walk alongside you, offering understanding and compassion as we explore the challenges you’re facing.
I work in a integrative way, which means I tailor sessions to your unique needs. I work with a person centered approach which looks at the here and now and also with a psychodynamic approach so that past experiences and relationships can be explored to focus on how the past has impacted on your life today. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and find new perspectives, and together we can create a path that feels right for you. I am also Working with an existential approach in therapy means helping clients explore the fundamental givens of human existence—freedom, responsibility, meaning, isolation, and mortality—rather than just focusing on symptoms. It’s less about technique and more about stance: I accompanying clients as they confront the challenges of surviving living in this world.
I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, and navigating life transitions. I work with people bereaved after suffering a loss, including the unique and often complex grief after being bereaved by suicide. This may include supporting those experiencing trauma or PTSD after such a loss. I understand how overwhelming and isolating these experiences can feel, and I offer a compassionate environment where you don’t have to face them alone. I work with adults, young people, and teenagers, tailoring a person centered approach to the individual and their unique journey. Whether you are processing grief, struggling with painful emotions, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I aim to walk alongside you, helping you find your own strength, resilience, and hope.
