Hello my name is Sheila White, and I am a HCPC -registered Dramatherapist with over 20 years of experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked across a wide range of settings, from forensic mental health and Psychiatric intensive care units, adolescent mental health wards; to schools and community spaces, supporting people with complex emotional and psychological needs. I specialise in supporting individuals, particularly adolescences and adults that have been diagnosed with autism, and ADHD. I also work with actors and performers, offering support with character-based work, helping them explore the psychological depth of their roles when working with scripts and text. I work with Families that have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal loss. I have and continue to support families who have lost their child through these circumstances.,

As a Dramatherapist I work from the EPR Model Embodiment-Projection-Role. The EPR Model is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals explore how their physical experiences, mental projections and social roles shape their emotions, behaviour, and self-awareness. By examining how you embody feelings, project emotions onto others, and navigate various life roles, EPR therapy guides you towards a more authentic and balanced sense of self. I offer a client-led approach, meaning that our sessions can involve talking, creative techniques, or a combination of both.

I am a HCPC-registered Dramatherapist and trauma-informed practitioner with over 20 years’ experience across forensic mental health, special education, and community settings. My practice integrates creative arts, movement, and systemic approaches to support individuals and families navigating complex emotional and relational dynamics. I have particular experience working with children and young people who have been adopted, as well as parents and carers in adoptive families—supporting identity, attachment, and communication through therapeutic engagement. I also work with actors and performers, offering creative and embodied therapeutic support around emotional regulation, role exploration, and professional wellbeing.
