Therapists

Hello, I’m a qualified Integrative Counselling Therapist, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore your current and past life experiences, understand yourself on a deeper level, and discover new ways of coping and growing. My approach is warm and empathic. I believe therapy works best when you feel really heard, accepted and understood without judgement. Together, we can explore feelings and patterns that may have been hidden, painful, unconscious or difficult to express and gently make sense of how they affect you today. You may be feeling anxious, stuck, alone or overwhelmed, can be weighed down by old patterns or memories, maybe struggling in relationships, wanting to feel more confident, authentic, or connected. Therapy with me offers a space to explore these experiences safely, to understand where they come from, and to find ways forward that feel genuine and lasting. Reaching out for therapy is already a brave first step. If you’d like to see whether we might work well together, I offer a free 20 to 30 minute consultation, depending how long we need (phone or online). This is a chance for you to get a feel for me and ask any questions, with no obligation. I can offer therapy in English and Romanian.

I often draw on attachment-focused work, which means looking at how early experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others now. This can be powerful in helping us understand repeating patterns, heal past wounds, and find more fulfilling ways of connecting. At the same time, I work integratively tailoring therapy to you, rather than fitting you into a box. Depending on what you need, this may include person-centred, psychodynamic, or existential perspectives, always with sensitivity and respect for your pace. I believe each person has an inner drive towards growth and wellbeing. Sometimes this gets buried by painful experiences, unhelpful patterns, or the pressures of life. In therapy, we can shine a light on the parts of yourself you’ve had to hide, so you can move towards living more fully and authentically.  One of my favourite metaphors for therapy is that of exploring a cave. You are the expert of your own cave, your mind, your life, your history. My role is to bring the torch: together we can carefully light up the corners, notice what has been hidden, and find ways to move forward with greater clarity and strength.
