Every young person has their own story, and I love helping them find their voice within it. My work is about creating a space where children, teenagers, and families feel understood and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether through words, play, or creativity, I help them make sense of their experiences and grow with greater confidence and self-belief. Hello, I’m Terezia. I work with children, young people and families to help them feel more connected, understood and confident in themselves. My sessions offer a calm and supportive space where feelings can be explored and new ways forward can take shape. I believe therapy can be both reflective and creative, and I aim to bring warmth, curiosity and a sense of ease into the process. You can find out more about me and my approach on my website: www.therapywithzia.com

I work psychodynamically, which means exploring what might be sitting beneath thoughts and feelings to understand how past experiences shape the present. This deeper understanding can help bring more balance and freedom into everyday life. With children and young people, I often use play, art or storytelling to help express emotions in ways that feel natural and engaging. When working with families, I focus on helping strengthen communication, understanding and connection.

I am accredited with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and have worked in both educational and clinical settings. My experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, relationship challenges and self-esteem issues. I have also been part of the Autism and Learning Disability team at the Tavistock Centre, working with neurodiverse young people and their families to build understanding and confidence. My work is guided by empathy and a genuine interest in each person’s story. I aim to create a space where people feel safe enough to explore, curious enough to grow and supported enough to change.
