People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be hoping for a space of peaceful refuge where you can practise slowing down and reconnecting with your emotions and your body. Maybe you are craving an opportunity to share your grief and trauma with somebody who will listen and explore the depth of your experiences with you, or you may wish to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your habits and want to unravel the drives behind them to support you in making more empowering choices. Common experiences I work with are anxiety, depression, nervous system regulation, low self-esteem, complex trauma, grief, body image issues, eating disorders, sexuality exploration, pre-menstrual syndrome, and creative blocks. I work with somatic/ embodied & creative arts approaches in sessions because sometimes words are not enough for us to accurately express our thoughts, feelings and experiences. Instead, through connecting with our bodies and our creativity we can at times find new solace, validation and understanding of our feelings. In sessions, we might use creative tools such as meditation, movement, art, writing, drama and music, or we may just talk. Together we will decide on an approach that feels safe and comfortable for the pace of our work.

Before training as a Therapist, I worked as a Musician, Actor and Dancer. My drive to use the arts in therapeutic settings led me to train as a therapist. Alongside my private practise I work as Mental Health Lead for the Royal Ballet School. My previous work experience includes the NHS's CAMHS and for a Private Adult Outpatient Eating Disorder recovery clinic.
