Therapists
I’m a qualified Integrative Psychodynamic Counsellor offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Alongside my private practice, I am developing ARC (Addiction Recovery Counselling) — a community-based project supporting individuals as they transition out of addiction. ARC combines therapeutic intervention, peer support, and recovery-focused community engagement. I aim to offer therapy that is safe, ethical, and inclusive — fostering resilience, self-awareness, and long-term growth for individuals and their families. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years supporting vulnerable adults through addiction, mental health challenges, and homelessness. This experience has shaped the way I work — with compassion, patience, and a deep respect for every person’s unique story.
My integrative psychodynamic approach draws on various therapeutic models, enabling us to explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns may impact your present life. Together, we can work towards greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and long-term change. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make sense of your story.
I have over sixteen years of experience working in the health and social care sector, supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health challenges, addiction, trauma, and issues affecting their overall well-being. My life experience has given me a deeper understanding of the human condition, the complexities people face, and the resilience needed to navigate change.
