Therapists
I bring warmth, clarity and curiosity to my work as a therapist. Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly, which I believe is a vital foundation for doing meaningful work together. I support adults in exploring the emotional patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others, and help them navigate life with more ease, connection and self-understanding. Though originally from the United States, I have lived and worked in London for many years. I bring a cross-cultural perspective and have supported people from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds. My interest in psychotherapy began early, rooted in a longstanding curiosity about how we carry our experiences, connect with others and cope with difficulty. I have always been especially drawn to attachment and the ways early relationships leave deep, often unspoken imprints on how we relate, love and feel about ourselves. That interest eventually became a profession grounded in both practice and research. I am also a published attachment researcher, and my approach is informed by an ongoing commitment to understanding how relational patterns shape emotional well-being across the lifespan. While therapy can be challenging at times, I believe it can also be a space for warmth, care and even humour when appropriate. I bring a mix of playfulness and depth to my work, offering a space that can be nurturing, reflective and gently challenging depending on what you need.
My approach is integrative, relational and tailored to the individual. I draw on evidence-based models including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-informed practices and attachment-based theory to support clients in developing greater emotional clarity, resilience and self-understanding. Depending on what you want to explore, we may focus on patterns in your relationships, how you manage emotions such as anxiety or overwhelm, or the impact of earlier experiences that may still shape your present responses. Therapy can involve untangling longstanding habits, working with your inner critic or emotional reactivity, or finding new ways to relate to yourself and others with more ease. I work with adults who are often capable and outwardly coping, but feeling stuck or disconnected beneath the surface. My aim is to create a reflective space that feels supportive and grounded, where you feel met, understood and able to explore what matters. I adapt the work to suit each person, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer warm, integrative and evidence-based psychotherapy for adults seeking support with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, relationship challenges, attachment difficulties and ongoing self-doubt. My style is collaborative and compassionate, and I tailor the work to each individual. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach and always aim to meet you where you are, moving at a pace that feels right for you. I am a BACP-registered psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees: an MA in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology and an MSc in Attachment Studies. I initially qualified and received in-depth psychotherapy training in the United States, where training is especially rigorous, and later advanced my clinical experience and academic study in the UK, where I have been based for several years. I have worked in a range of settings, including the NHS, university counselling services and private practice, supporting adults of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. This has included a wide range of emotional concerns and relational patterns. My practice is grounded in integrative, research-informed approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness, supporting emotional regulation, resilience and lasting change. As an attachment specialist, I support clients in exploring how early relational experiences may continue to shape emotional patterns, self-perception and relationships. This work can be especially helpful for those who feel stuck, disconnected or caught in repeated dynamics that are difficult to shift. I aim to provide a reflective, respectful and engaged space where you can explore what matters most and feel supported in creating meaningful personal growth. In addition to my clinical work, I teach and supervise psychotherapy trainees, lead a psychology master’s programme at a university in London, and am a published researcher in the field of attachment
