Felicity Brook

Psychotherapist
It can be hard to know where to start when life feels overwhelming. I’m Felicity, and I believe meaningful change begins in a relationship where you feel truly heard and accepted. My therapeutic approach is person-centred. I trust in people’s capacity to make sense of their experiences when met with empathy and acceptance. I am curious about how you experience your life and attentive to what unfolds between us. Whatever brings you to therapy, I will meet you as you are. I have experience in working with times of transition, particularly moments when life shifts, whether expected or unexpected. This might include experiences of grief or loss, becoming a parent, changes in identity, relationships beginning or ending, or periods of uncertainty about direction or purpose. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a psychotherapist in the final stages of training. I currently have one slot open – for online sessions on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. Please reach out if you would like to discuss starting therapy! My website: www.felicitybrookpsychotherapy.co.uk
My background
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education supporting young people who were struggling to find their place in the world. That experience deepened my belief in the power of empathy and genuine connection to bring about change. I later moved into supporting survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence as they rebuilt their sense of safety and self.
My sessions offer a warm, supportive space where you can bring whatever feels most present for you. Some people arrive with clear concerns; others begin with a sense that something isn’t quite right. Both are welcome. The therapy room is a space to speak freely and at your own pace. I aim to support you in understanding your experiences. Over time, the work we do together might open up new ways of understanding yourself. This deepening awareness can bring about change in many areas of life, from internal beliefs and self-perception to relationships and everyday decisions. Clients often experience more ease in trusting their own sense of what matters, feeling less shaped by others’ expectations and more able to respond to life with compassion and inner strength.
