I am an HCPC Registered Art Psychotherapist and experienced psychotherapist working with adults, adolescents and university students. I offer a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where you can explore what may be feeling difficult, overwhelming or stuck. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, relationships, trauma, loss, emotional regulation and periods of transition.
I trained as an Art Psychotherapist at the University of Roehampton and have worked therapeutically across private practice, educational and community settings. My experience includes working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues and significant life changes. I also have extensive experience supporting young people and university students with emotional difficulties, academic pressures and transitions.
My approach
My approach is integrative, relational and trauma-informed. I believe that therapy develops through a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, and I adapt my approach to each person’s individual needs. Sessions can be entirely verbal, and where helpful I can also offer creative, visual or sensory ways of exploring experiences that may be difficult to put into words. There is no expectation to make art or to have any artistic experience.
