Psychodynamic therapy is based on the understanding that our early experiences, relationships and ways of coping can continue to influence how we think, feel and relate to others today. By exploring these patterns together, it can become possible to see yourself and your relationships differently, develop greater emotional insight and create meaningful change. I believe therapy offers a unique space to slow down, think together and make sense of the experiences and relationships that have shaped who you are.
You may have reached a point where exploring your emotional life, relationships, family experiences or work pressures feels important. You may be feeling anxious, low or overwhelmed, struggling with loss, trauma, anger, identity, self-esteem, experiences of difference or neurodiversity, or simply curious to understand yourself better and make sense of patterns that seem to repeat in your life.
I offer a confidential, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever brings you to therapy. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work, providing a space where you can be listened to, understood and speak openly at your own pace.
Our first session will give us an opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy and whether working together might feel right for you. To get in touch, book a first consultation session at one of the slots below, or go to therapywithsimon.com to email me or to schedule a 20 minute complimentary introductory call.
