Masters in Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist who offers a safe, collaborative and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted. I am a down-to-earth, approachable and attentive therapist, and I believe that developing a genuine therapeutic relationship is central to the work. I aim to create a space where you can be yourself, speak openly and explore whatever may be troubling you at your own pace.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Together, we can begin wherever you are and take time to understand what is happening for you, without judgement or pressure.
I have several years of experience working across clinical and educational settings, supporting adults with a range of personal and emotional difficulties through both once- and twice-weekly therapy. Alongside this, I have a private practice in Wimbledon, where I work with adults and young people, offering a confidential and supportive space to explore difficulties at a pace that feels manageable and appropriate for each individual.
I am in the final stages of completing a PhD in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and also teach psychodynamic trainees at the British Psychoanalytic Foundation (BPF), where I facilitate to clinical seminars. My clinical, academic and teaching work complement one another, allowing me to continually deepen my understanding of psychotherapy while remaining grounded in clinical practice. I am committed to ongoing learning and bringing this depth of experience and understanding to my work with each individual.
My approach
My approach is psychodynamic, exploring how your present experiences may be shaped by your past, relationships and ways of coping. Together, we can begin to understand recurring patterns, emotions and difficulties that may feel hard to make sense of or change.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, with both our minds working together to achieve insights and knowledge. I aim to offer a thoughtful, compassionate and grounded space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences, develop greater self-understanding and create possibilities for change.
