Life Coaching is a collaborative and goal-focused process that helps individuals identify what they want to achieve and develop practical strategies to move forward. Unlike counselling or psychotherapy, which often explore past experiences and emotional difficulties, life coaching is primarily focused on the present and future, supporting personal growth, confidence, motivation, and achievement.
People seek life coaching for many reasons, including career development, work-life balance, confidence building, relationship goals, business success, decision-making, and personal fulfilment. A life coach works alongside clients to clarify their goals, overcome obstacles, and create actionable plans that support meaningful progress.
Sessions are designed to encourage self-reflection, accountability, and positive change. Through structured conversations, clients gain greater clarity about their strengths, values, and aspirations. Life coaching can help individuals unlock their potential, develop confidence in their decisions, and create a clearer path towards the life they want to lead. It is particularly valuable for those looking to make positive changes and achieve specific personal or professional goals.

Perhaps something in your life doesn't feel right.
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low. Perhaps your mind rarely switches off, you're struggling with a relationship, coping with grief or loss, dealing with work or family pressures, or facing a change you weren't expecting.
You might find yourself worrying about the future, going over things from the past or wondering why the same feelings or patterns keep returning. Or perhaps there isn't one particular problem. You simply feel stuck, disconnected from yourself or know that something needs to change.
You don't need to have it all worked out before you come to counselling. We can start with where you are.
I have experience supporting adults with anxiety, stress, panic, low mood, grief and loss, trauma and difficult past experiences, relationship and family difficulties, loneliness, self-esteem, overwhelm and significant life changes.
For me, counselling isn't about becoming a different person. It can give you the space to understand yourself more deeply, recognise what you need and consider how you want to move forward.
My approach is primarily person-centred. I believe you are the expert in your own life, even at times when you may feel unsure, overwhelmed or lost.
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is happening for you. I won't tell you what you should do or rush you towards solutions. Instead, I'll work alongside you, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
You don't need to arrive with the right words or know exactly what you want to talk about. There is no pressure to disclose anything before you feel ready.
I also draw on psychodynamic thinking where it may be helpful. Exploring how earlier experiences and relationships may influence how you feel, respond or relate to others today can help recurring patterns begin to make sense.
Greater self-understanding can help you recognise what you would like to change and what you might be ready to accept about yourself. Sometimes moving forward involves change. Sometimes it involves becoming more accepting of ourselves.
Often, it's a combination of both.
I offer 50-minute face-to-face counselling sessions in West Hampstead at £80 per session and online counselling at £60 per 50-minute session. Online counselling enables me to work with clients across the UK.
I also offer a free 15-minute introductory telephone conversation. This gives you the opportunity to tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. There is no obligation to book afterwards.
Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.

I’m Williamina Baillie, a BACP Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, working with adults, couples and relationships.
Sometimes life can feel so full that it becomes difficult to see clearly what is going on. You may be dealing with anxiety or stress, difficulties in a relationship, pressures at work, health concerns, grief or loss, or a change in your life that you didn't expect. Sometimes there isn't one obvious reason — you may simply know that things don't feel quite right.
I can help you untangle some of this and make sense of what you are experiencing. I’m a good listener and genuinely interested in hearing your story, how things affect you and what you would like to be different.
I work with people from many different backgrounds, including professionals, freelancers and those starting or running their own businesses. You may be used to managing things, solving problems and getting on with it, but find that something has become harder to manage on your own.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about. We can begin wherever you are and explore what feels important to you, at your pace and capacity.
Areas I often work with include:
Anxiety & Stress · Relationships & Couples · Work & Life Challenges · Health & Illness · Grief & Loss · Life Transitions
My approach is person-centred, phenomenological and relational. This means I’m interested in understanding things from your perspective, while bringing my experience and training to help you explore what is happening and what you find may help you.
The relationship between us matters. I listen with empathy, without judgement, and you don't need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or where to start. We can begin with whatever is making life difficult, even when you can’t quite put your finger on it.
I believe you have the capacity for growth and change. We work together at your pace and capacity, making sense of what is happening, exploring different perspectives and noticing patterns or connections that may not have been clear before. This can help you understand yourself differently and, where you want to, begin to change patterns that may no longer be working for you.
Where useful, I can also draw on practical tools such as mindfulness, breathing, emotional regulation and stress management. These can complement the therapeutic work without interrupting it or taking it over.
For me, counselling is about being alongside you, listening carefully, helping you make sense of what is happening and exploring what may be possible for you.

There are many reasons you might be considering therapy. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low, struggling in a relationship, questioning where you are in life, or finding yourself caught in patterns that seem to keep repeating. You might understand some of what is happening but still find it difficult to change, or perhaps you simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right. You don’t need to have it all figured out before coming to therapy.
I offer a warm and supportive space where we can slow things down and begin to make sense of what has been happening for you. I know that talking openly about yourself can feel vulnerable, particularly at the beginning, so I place a lot of importance on building a relationship where you can gradually feel comfortable being yourself, without pressure to say the “right” thing or be a particular way.
I’m naturally curious about people and interested in what lies beneath the surface — not only what you are feeling, but why certain experiences affect you in the way they do, why particular patterns keep returning, and how your past may still be influencing your present. I’m warm and attentive, but I won’t only sit back and listen. I’ll be alongside you in the process, asking questions, sharing what I notice and helping you look at things from perspectives that may not have been available to you before.
I work with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, ADHD and OCD-related difficulties, as well as attachment, relationships, sexuality and identity. I also work with couples experiencing conflict, distance, communication difficulties, loss of trust or intimacy. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can be a place to understand yourself more deeply and begin finding a way forward that feels right for you.
As an integrative therapist, I use various therapeutic approaches. Therapy is shaped around you, rather than expecting you to fit into a particular model. Some people want to understand their past, some need help with what is happening right now, and many find that the two are more connected than they initially realised.
We might explore experiences and relationships that have shaped how you see yourself, the patterns that appear in your relationships, or the ways you have learned to cope when things feel difficult. We can also work more practically with anxiety, difficult thoughts and emotions, boundaries, communication or situations you are facing in your life now. I draw on relational, attachment-informed, humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches, depending on what feels most useful for you.
I’m particularly interested in understanding rather than judging the parts of ourselves we often wish we could simply get rid of. Anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing, avoidance or withdrawing from others can become frustrating, but they often developed for a reason. Understanding where these patterns came from and what they have been trying to do for you can create more choice about whether you still need them in the same way.
Therapy doesn’t have to be only about what is wrong. It can also help you recognise what matters to you, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have become lost or overlooked, and develop a kinder and more trusting relationship with yourself. My hope is that, over time, you leave with greater clarity and confidence in yourself — and more freedom to make choices, build relationships and create a life that feels genuinely yours.

I’m Laura Smart, a qualified Trauma-Informed Practitioner and experienced therapist offering evidence-based support through counselling and therapy.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic models, including Gestalt therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, inner child therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, alongside other approaches and methods where appropriate. By tailoring therapy and my therapeutic and psychoeducational programmes to you, we can work in a way that best supports your goals and experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and personal growth.
I work transparently and do not believe that counselling is about ‘fixing’ something; rather, it is a collaborative process to explore and find a way forward in life. The therapeutic relationship has transformative power.
I am trained in and influenced by several approaches to therapy such as Gestalt (working with the whole- body, mind and spirit), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), REBT (Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy), Inner Child Therapy, Release Therapy, Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy. I am familiar with and use the 12 Steps and SMART Recovery models where appropriate when working with addictions.
The areas I work with include:
addictions (substance abuse and alcoholism, food, behaviour, internet, social media, gambling, shopping, relationships, sex, porn, hoarding, work).
aftercare sessions for groups, individuals, couples and families leaving rehab and treatment.
stress, anxiety and general mental health and well-being
anger management
trauma and abuse (sexual, emotional, psychological, physical, spiritual/religious)
couples counselling, codependency, trauma bonding, and relationship difficulties
inner child therapy
emotional energy release
I work with a diverse range of clients, long and short-term, to explore and identify unresolved childhood experiences now resulting in unhealthy behaviours and patterns that are painful, destructive and impacting the present.
In a non-judgmental approach, I will work with you to explore what is troubling you and how you can work through the things you may be experiencing as challenging. My approach is caring and effective and I enjoy helping you get your desired results. I will support you in reaching your goal in the shortest time possible to produce long-lasting change that gets to the root of the issues you’re experiencing. Together we will explore how your thinking, attitudes, beliefs, opinions and behaviours were formed, how they affect your emotions, actions, lives and happiness and how changing them can help you feel better and achieve more.

David is an integrative, humanistic counsellor, which means he draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels right for your individual needs. His work is mainly influenced by Carl Rogers’ person-centred therapy, alongside Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt, Existentialism, Jungian ideas, and CBT, allowing him to respond flexibly to what may be most helpful for you.

MY APPROACH
The focus of the work is on the current situation.
My approach is guided by an INTEGRATIVE APPROACH, meaning I draw from different therapeutic traditions.
Employing a psychodynamic approach to explore how past experiences—particularly early relationships—continue
to influence your thoughts, emotions, and interactions with others today.
Uncovering repetitive patterns and coping strategies that may no longer serve you, helping you make more conscious choices and feel more in control.
The transpersonal approach not only helps in healing emotional pain but also in evolving into a new version
of yourself, one that is aligned with your values, feelings, and deep longings. Your challenges are seen not only
as difficulties, but also as invitations for growth.
I use a trauma-informed approach (Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment developed by Dr Janina Fisher).
It focuses on attending different parts of you — even those that feel reactive, stuck, or self-sabotaging — with
care and compassion. This approach understands that trauma affects both the mind and the body, and helps you feel safer and manage the sense of overwhelm.
Through systemic lenses, I also consider the broader context: your family system, culture, faith background,
and transgenerational experiences, all of which contribute to who you are and how you interact with the world.
Other theories which inform my practice include findings from Attachment Theory, neuroscience, Emotional Intelligence and others.

About my practice
With nearly 18 years of experience in psychoanalytic practice, I have had the privilege of working with people at different stages of life, from children and adolescents to adults and older people, as well as with mother–baby relationships.
Over the years, my clinical work has brought me into contact with a wide range of experiences and forms of psychological suffering, including depression, anxiety, questions around sexual orientation and identity, anger, grief, trauma, difficulties relating to the body and body image, and psychosis.
Each person I have worked with has contributed to my clinical experience and understanding of the complexity and singularity of each suqbject. Psychoanalytic work offers a space in which what is difficult to put into words can gradually find a place to be spoken and listened to, opening up the possibility of relating differently to one's experiences, relationships and ways of being in the world.
After nearly two decades of practice, I continue to value above all the encounter with each person and the uniqueness of their story.
If you feel that you would like to talk, or simply to have a space where you can be listened to, please get in touch.

People often come to me when the way they've been living stops working quietly. From the outside things may look fine, even enviable; inside there is anxiety that arrives at 3am, a flatness that won't lift, or a sense that the life you built and the person you are have drifted apart. I work with capable, high-functioning adults: the ones who hold demanding lives together, who others lean on, and who rarely show what it costs them. I see clients in Clapham, near Bank in the City of London, and online, and sessions can be held entirely in English, French or Italian. We begin with a free 20-minute call, with no obligation, so you can get a sense of me and how I work. You can read more at innerspacetherapy.co.uk.
I work integratively, shaping the approach around you rather than fitting you to a method, and the relationship between us always comes first; research consistently finds it to be one of the strongest predictors of how well therapy works. Alongside it, I pay close attention to what happens as we talk, in the room and in the body, and, where it helps, we trace a pattern back to where it began, so that what feels like a personal failing starts to make sense as something learned, and something that can be unlearned. There is no set programme and no fixed number of sessions; we review the work openly as we go. I most often work with anxiety and burnout, low self-esteem, OCD and intrusive thoughts, adult ADHD, relationships, disordered eating, and women's health.

I'm a qualified systemic family and couple psychotherapist and mental health clinician with over twenty years of clinical experience of working in the NHS mental health services, offering support to families, groups, couples, young people and adults who are facing mental health difficulties, trauma and emotional dysregulation.
I'm registered with the Association of Family Therapy and accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy. I have an MSc in Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapy. I currently work in the NHS child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) and eating disorders service. I also manage my own private practice.
I’m experienced in working with couples, families, individuals, adolescents and children, providing evidence-based psychological interventions. I have experience of working in Local Authorities children’s services, supporting many different types of families (nuclear, adoptive, fostered and blended). I work with families, supporting parents and care givers with understanding their child’s needs and connecting with them in healthy ways.
I also have extensive experience of working with couples, where there have been issues in relation to trust, communication and intimacy. I have experience of working with couples and families before and after separation and stepfamily joining, and where there have been affairs.
I am also experienced in working with families and couples in high conflict separations involving the family law system. I’m experienced in supporting families and couples through this process, which may involve liaising with social workers, children’s guardians, CAFCAS workers, family lawyers and in the preparation of court reports.
I also work with individuals and couples from the LGBTQ+ community and have experience of working with people who want to explore their identity relating to gender and sexuality.
I offer both short-term therapy and long-term therapy to couples, families and individuals. I have access to consulting rooms, and I’m also experienced in delivering therapy using on-line platforms.
My approach is warm, caring, compassionate and collaborative with people. I work hard to provide a safe, non-judgmental, confidential approach. This enables people to explore their dilemmas regarding their relationships with people, family members and partners, opening new possibilities and communication. My approach is influenced by attachment narratives and cultural differences. I have had the privilege of working with many people and families from a broad range of backgrounds. I ensure therapy is inclusive and adapted to your ethnicity, culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age and disability.
My main approach is systemic psychotherapy, which is a strengths-based approach that seeks to help families and couples work through problems and difficulties together and work towards change. My clinical practice with families is informed by different models such as Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Narrative Family Therapy, Non-Violent Resistant model (NVR), Circle of Security (COS) and Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FTAN).
My clinical practice with couples is informed by Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Exeter Model. Systemic psychotherapy focuses on how families and couples interact and relate to one another, and how they are understood and experienced by one another.
In sessions I work with people to explore their relationships. I work with people to unpick unhelpful patterns of communication - or issues of loss and life transition difficulties - through which dilemmas, distress, emotions and confusion can be resolved by identifying unhelpful thought processes and patterns of behaviour that may have developed over time, and may be contributing towards you feeling stuck and frustrated.
In sessions I work with people to improve their understanding in their relationships and enhance their communication, promoting resilience and change, creating new coping strategies - and the process of reconnection within the relationships of the people involved.
Research shows that having strong, close relationships leads to better health and more positive outcomes in life. Regardless of whether you are an individual, couple or family this approach provides a way forward.

Hi, I’m Louise, a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, coach and wellbeing practitioner with over 16 years’ experience supporting people through life’s challenges, helping them to feel lighter, calmer, clearer and more in control.
My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to you as an individual. I don’t believe therapy should be a one-size-fits-all process; together we explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings, patterns and goals to understand what you need and what will be most helpful.
I have a particular interest in working with the whole person, working with both the mind and body, the connection between the two and using the latest research in mind-body therapies and techniques to help facilitate healing and positive change.
If you have been feeling low, anxious, stressed, worried, exhausted, trying to bring about change in your life without success, then know that you don't have to work through that alone. I work with many people experiencing exactly that feeling and I can assure you that healing and transformation are possible, even if right now it may not feel that way.

I am a fully qualified Art Psychotherapist with extensive experience working with adults, young people and children. I offer both creative and talking therapy, with a flexible approach shaped around your individual needs, preferences and ways of communicating.
I specialise in supporting autistic, ADHD and other neurodivergent individuals, with an understanding of diverse sensory, communication and processing styles. If you are neurodivergent, my approach recognises this as part of your identity and way of experiencing the world, rather than something that needs to be changed or “fixed”.
Art Psychotherapy is an established and professionally regulated form of psychological therapy, informed by psychological theory, clinical practice and a growing body of research. It combines the therapeutic relationship with creative processes to support emotional expression, reflection and psychological understanding.
No artistic ability or previous experience with art is needed.
I am trained to work with both verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. This can be particularly valuable if experiences are difficult to put into words, if emotions feel overwhelming, or if thinking and communicating through images, materials, metaphor or sensory experience feels more accessible than talking alone.
You may be seeking support with a wide range of needs and experiences, including:
- Neurodivergence, including being autistic, ADHD or dyslexic - with support around self-understanding, identity, strengths, sensory needs, communication preferences, regulation and self-advocacy
- Anxiety
- Stress, overwhelm and burnout
- Depression and low mood
- Trauma and the impact of difficult or overwhelming experiences
- Grief, bereavement and loss
- Self-esteem, self-worth and confidence
- Relationships, connection and interpersonal difficulties
- Learning disabilities
- Change, transitions and periods of uncertainty
- Adoption, including experiences connected with identity, attachment and belonging
- Addiction
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties
- Infertility and fertility-related experiences
My approach is grounded in safety, trust, choice, collaboration and respect for your individual experience. I work at a pace that feels manageable for you, recognising that everyone differs in how they communicate, process emotions, build trust and make sense of their experiences.
No problem is too small. If it matters to you, it matters. Getting in touch can be the first step towards greater understanding, meaningful change and a different way of relating to yourself and your experiences.
Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Counsellor and Psychotherapist
From £95 per session
Hi, I’m Paul. Before training as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I spent 25 years building businesses and working in senior leadership roles. I know the world of ambition, achievement and responsibility from the inside — and I’ve also experienced the value of having someone outside that world help me think more clearly about the questions that matter.
That experience was part of what led me to psychotherapy. I became increasingly interested in what sits beneath the decisions we make, the patterns we repeat and the expectations we place on ourselves. I was drawn to the opportunity to understand people more deeply: how we come to see ourselves as we do, how our experiences shape our relationships, and why we can sometimes find ourselves repeating patterns even when we know they aren't helping us.
I work with adults who are trying to make sense of where they are and what comes next. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties or loss. Perhaps something significant has changed in your life, or you have reached a point where the things that once motivated you no longer feel quite the same. You might have a successful career, a busy family life or a great deal of responsibility, yet still feel unsettled, stuck or unsure about what you really want.
Sometimes life looks fine from the outside but doesn't feel that way on the inside. You don't need to know exactly why or have a clear idea of what needs to change before starting counselling.
Therapy offers a safe space to step back from the demands of everyday life and pay attention to experiences that may be difficult to examine elsewhere. Through that process, it can become possible to understand what is happening more clearly, recognise what may need to change and find a way forward that feels more your own.
People often have more of the answers than they think. My role is to listen carefully, bring curiosity to your experiences, ask a different question and help you find new perspectives. Sometimes a different question can be the beginning of a different life.
My integrative training includes humanistic, psychodynamic and relational approaches. Each offers a different perspective on how we understand ourselves, our feelings, our relationships and the experiences that shape us. My clients draw on this breadth of learning to find the approaches and perspectives most relevant to you, rather than expecting you to fit a particular model of therapy.
Every person brings a different set of experiences, concerns and ways of understanding the world. I listen carefully to what you bring and work with you to explore what might be most helpful. Sometimes we may focus on what is happening in your life now; at other times, it may be useful to look at experiences from the past and consider how they continue to influence the present. The work develops with you, drawing on my training and experience in ways that respond to your individual needs.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that a trusting therapeutic relationship creates the conditions in which people can begin to understand themselves more fully. Having the space to speak openly, without judgement or pressure to present things in a particular way, can itself be valuable. From there, we can begin to explore what is happening in your life and what you might want to change.
We might look at patterns in relationships, the expectations you place on yourself, or the ways you have learned to cope with difficult situations. We can consider what may be keeping you stuck and explore different perspectives. Sometimes this involves seeing familiar situations in a new way; sometimes it means allowing difficult feelings to be understood rather than pushed aside.
I won't assume that I know what is best for you, or that there is a predetermined route we need to follow. Counselling isn't about being given the answers. It is an opportunity to develop a clearer understanding of yourself, your relationships and the choices available to you. The aim isn't to become someone else or to meet somebody else's expectations, but to find a way forward that feels more genuinely your own.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you have not had counselling before. You don't need to arrive with a clear diagnosis, a particular goal or the right words. We can start with what's happening for you now and take things at a pace that feels manageable.
My role is to offer a thoughtful, compassionate and confidential space in which you can explore what matters to you and begin to find your own way forward.

Having put in all my energies to my work, relationship, children and surviving abuse, I was never able to prioritise myself or ever feel I was enough. I did not look after myself on any level. It has been an exhausting and painful journey, but to a new and prosperous life, where I have learnt to thrive and understood my strength and capabilities.
I want to share that gift with you, and help you reach your potential, to enhance your resilience and live your best life free from anxiety, physical and emotional constraints and limiting beliefs.
Elevate your goals and potential and thrive in every area of your life. Everything you want is available to you.
I use a combination of Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic programming and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to bring rapid outcomes and resolution for an issue often in just a few sessions. My coaching programmes run alongside this if a client chooses this type of approach instead of just the therapy itself. And we decide on the goals for the time period and I devise a coaching programme around this to successfully achieve this desired outcomes.

My name is Arezoo, though most people know me as Ozzy. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgement. My aim is to offer a calm, compassionate environment where you can speak openly, make sense of what you're going through, and move towards a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling, at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative, drawing on a range of evidence based therapeutic models to meet your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit one approach. I believe therapy is not about giving advice or telling you what to do, but about helping you understand yourself more deeply, discover your own strengths, and make lasting changes with confidence and self compassion.

My path has been shaped by displacement: geographical (Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Auckland, Vancouver, London), linguistic (French, English), institutional (clinical psychology, rehabilitation centres, private practice), and, above all, subjective displacement.
Initially trained in Anglo-Saxon psychological approaches and having worked in settings where acute distress calls for urgent interventions (addiction, exclusion), I have, in parallel, entered the Freudo-Lacanian tradition in French over the past decade and now orient my work within a psychoanalytic framework.
Within the transferential bond specific to psychoanalysis, the work consists in sustaining a position that enables each person to encounter what, for them, constitutes a question: their desire, their singular way of being in the world, their repetitions, the mark of signifiers that affect them, and, as is so often formulated, that sense that “things are not going well,” “nothing works,” or “I keep going round in circles.”
I work with adults, in both French and English
