Psychodynamic therapy is therapeutic practice that seeks to help clients investigate and understand the full range of their emotions, including unconscious thoughts and feelings. Although less intense than psychoanalytic therapy, psychodynamic therapy also stems from Freudian theory.
The primary focus of the psychodynamic approach is to reveal a client’s unconscious conflicts in an effort to alleviate problems. Psychodynamic therapy sessions are generally loosely structured and a client is encouraged to talk about whatever is on their mind, using a free association method. Some of the most common problems treated with psychodynamic therapy include anxiety, depression, panic disorders and stress.

I am an integrative Counselling Psychologist who cares deeply about connecting with the people I support. My experience spans the NHS, private practice, and mental health charities.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based models — Psychodynamic and Systemic therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and third-wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds with low mood, anxiety in its various forms, stress, trauma, anger, relational difficulties, low self-esteem or confidence, and the emotional impact of living with long-term health conditions.
At the heart of my work is cultural awareness: holding space for your identities, your experiences, and the contexts that have shaped your story. I draw on these approaches while always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the centre.

There are many reasons you might be considering therapy. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low, struggling in a relationship, questioning where you are in life, or finding yourself caught in patterns that seem to keep repeating. You might understand some of what is happening but still find it difficult to change, or perhaps you simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right. You don’t need to have it all figured out before coming to therapy.
I offer a warm and supportive space where we can slow things down and begin to make sense of what has been happening for you. I know that talking openly about yourself can feel vulnerable, particularly at the beginning, so I place a lot of importance on building a relationship where you can gradually feel comfortable being yourself, without pressure to say the “right” thing or be a particular way.
I’m naturally curious about people and interested in what lies beneath the surface — not only what you are feeling, but why certain experiences affect you in the way they do, why particular patterns keep returning, and how your past may still be influencing your present. I’m warm and attentive, but I won’t only sit back and listen. I’ll be alongside you in the process, asking questions, sharing what I notice and helping you look at things from perspectives that may not have been available to you before.
I work with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, ADHD and OCD-related difficulties, as well as attachment, relationships, sexuality and identity. I also work with couples experiencing conflict, distance, communication difficulties, loss of trust or intimacy. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can be a place to understand yourself more deeply and begin finding a way forward that feels right for you.
As an integrative therapist, I use various therapeutic approaches. Therapy is shaped around you, rather than expecting you to fit into a particular model. Some people want to understand their past, some need help with what is happening right now, and many find that the two are more connected than they initially realised.
We might explore experiences and relationships that have shaped how you see yourself, the patterns that appear in your relationships, or the ways you have learned to cope when things feel difficult. We can also work more practically with anxiety, difficult thoughts and emotions, boundaries, communication or situations you are facing in your life now. I draw on relational, attachment-informed, humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches, depending on what feels most useful for you.
I’m particularly interested in understanding rather than judging the parts of ourselves we often wish we could simply get rid of. Anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing, avoidance or withdrawing from others can become frustrating, but they often developed for a reason. Understanding where these patterns came from and what they have been trying to do for you can create more choice about whether you still need them in the same way.
Therapy doesn’t have to be only about what is wrong. It can also help you recognise what matters to you, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have become lost or overlooked, and develop a kinder and more trusting relationship with yourself. My hope is that, over time, you leave with greater clarity and confidence in yourself — and more freedom to make choices, build relationships and create a life that feels genuinely yours.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Therapist & Counsellor, and an accredited member of the British Association For Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I adhere to the BACP’s ethical framework, therefore ethical principles, values and good practice standards are at the core of my practice.
My clients are central to the work that I do and it is my desire to help others in healing and feeling fulfilled in their lives that provided my pathway to becoming a therapist. I believe in recognising and facilitating wholeness in my work with individuals and so tailor my approach to individual needs. I always aim to offer an empathetic, non-judgmental space in which you can feel safe to bring or discover your authentic self.
I am an Integrative Therapist, which means that I often utilise many different ways of working with clients, although most importantly, I recognise the significance of the relationship between client and therapist in facilitating growth and healing. I believe that the human connection offered in therapeutic spaces holds the ability to enable change.
Therapy has the capacity to be as unique as the individuals who seek it. I do not operate with a ‘one size fits all’ approach and whilst I draw upon my knowledge of research and contemporary therapeutic studies, I do not attempt to manipulate and squeeze my clients into said models. I always aim to truly see the person in the therapeutic space.
I work with a broad range of clients and content, aiming to make the sessions that I offer as accessible as possible.

I am a fully qualified Art Psychotherapist with extensive experience working with adults, young people and children. I offer both creative and talking therapy, with a flexible approach shaped around your individual needs, preferences and ways of communicating.
I specialise in supporting autistic, ADHD and other neurodivergent individuals, with an understanding of diverse sensory, communication and processing styles. If you are neurodivergent, my approach recognises this as part of your identity and way of experiencing the world, rather than something that needs to be changed or “fixed”.
Art Psychotherapy is an established and professionally regulated form of psychological therapy, informed by psychological theory, clinical practice and a growing body of research. It combines the therapeutic relationship with creative processes to support emotional expression, reflection and psychological understanding.
No artistic ability or previous experience with art is needed.
I am trained to work with both verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. This can be particularly valuable if experiences are difficult to put into words, if emotions feel overwhelming, or if thinking and communicating through images, materials, metaphor or sensory experience feels more accessible than talking alone.
You may be seeking support with a wide range of needs and experiences, including:
- Neurodivergence, including being autistic, ADHD or dyslexic - with support around self-understanding, identity, strengths, sensory needs, communication preferences, regulation and self-advocacy
- Anxiety
- Stress, overwhelm and burnout
- Depression and low mood
- Trauma and the impact of difficult or overwhelming experiences
- Grief, bereavement and loss
- Self-esteem, self-worth and confidence
- Relationships, connection and interpersonal difficulties
- Learning disabilities
- Change, transitions and periods of uncertainty
- Adoption, including experiences connected with identity, attachment and belonging
- Addiction
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties
- Infertility and fertility-related experiences
My approach is grounded in safety, trust, choice, collaboration and respect for your individual experience. I work at a pace that feels manageable for you, recognising that everyone differs in how they communicate, process emotions, build trust and make sense of their experiences.
No problem is too small. If it matters to you, it matters. Getting in touch can be the first step towards greater understanding, meaningful change and a different way of relating to yourself and your experiences.

I am a qualified psychotherapist with six years’ experience working with adults, children and teenagers. I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.
Over the course of my career, I have worked with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, low mood, work-related stress, relationship difficulties, burnout, self-harm, and challenges within friendships and family relationships.
For the past four years, I have worked within the charity sector supporting teenagers who have experienced sexual abuse. This experience has given me a particular understanding of the impact that trauma can have on emotional wellbeing, relationships and a person’s sense of self.
I believe that seeking therapy can be an important step towards understanding yourself, making sense of difficult experiences and creating meaningful change. My aim is to work collaboratively with you, at a pace that feels right for you, and to provide a space where you can explore what is happening without fear of judgement.
I am an integrative therapist, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor my way of working to your individual needs, experiences and goals. I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone, and therapy should be shaped around you as an individual.
I aim to create a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can feel comfortable exploring difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences. We can work together to develop a better understanding of what you are experiencing, explore patterns that may be affecting you, and consider ways of moving forward.
My experience includes working with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, low mood, work-related stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, family and friendship issues, and self-harm. I also have particular experience supporting teenagers who have experienced sexual abuse.
I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable for you. Whether you are dealing with something that has happened recently, carrying the impact of past experiences, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I will work with you to understand your needs and identify what may help.

I'm a qualified systemic family and couple psychotherapist and mental health clinician with over twenty years of clinical experience of working in the NHS mental health services, offering support to families, groups, couples, young people and adults who are facing mental health difficulties, trauma and emotional dysregulation.
I'm registered with the Association of Family Therapy and accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy. I have an MSc in Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapy. I currently work in the NHS child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) and eating disorders service. I also manage my own private practice.
I’m experienced in working with couples, families, individuals, adolescents and children, providing evidence-based psychological interventions. I have experience of working in Local Authorities children’s services, supporting many different types of families (nuclear, adoptive, fostered and blended). I work with families, supporting parents and care givers with understanding their child’s needs and connecting with them in healthy ways.
I also have extensive experience of working with couples, where there have been issues in relation to trust, communication and intimacy. I have experience of working with couples and families before and after separation and stepfamily joining, and where there have been affairs.
I am also experienced in working with families and couples in high conflict separations involving the family law system. I’m experienced in supporting families and couples through this process, which may involve liaising with social workers, children’s guardians, CAFCAS workers, family lawyers and in the preparation of court reports.
I also work with individuals and couples from the LGBTQ+ community and have experience of working with people who want to explore their identity relating to gender and sexuality.
I offer both short-term therapy and long-term therapy to couples, families and individuals. I have access to consulting rooms, and I’m also experienced in delivering therapy using on-line platforms.
My approach is warm, caring, compassionate and collaborative with people. I work hard to provide a safe, non-judgmental, confidential approach. This enables people to explore their dilemmas regarding their relationships with people, family members and partners, opening new possibilities and communication. My approach is influenced by attachment narratives and cultural differences. I have had the privilege of working with many people and families from a broad range of backgrounds. I ensure therapy is inclusive and adapted to your ethnicity, culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age and disability.
My main approach is systemic psychotherapy, which is a strengths-based approach that seeks to help families and couples work through problems and difficulties together and work towards change. My clinical practice with families is informed by different models such as Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Narrative Family Therapy, Non-Violent Resistant model (NVR), Circle of Security (COS) and Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FTAN).
My clinical practice with couples is informed by Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Exeter Model. Systemic psychotherapy focuses on how families and couples interact and relate to one another, and how they are understood and experienced by one another.
In sessions I work with people to explore their relationships. I work with people to unpick unhelpful patterns of communication - or issues of loss and life transition difficulties - through which dilemmas, distress, emotions and confusion can be resolved by identifying unhelpful thought processes and patterns of behaviour that may have developed over time, and may be contributing towards you feeling stuck and frustrated.
In sessions I work with people to improve their understanding in their relationships and enhance their communication, promoting resilience and change, creating new coping strategies - and the process of reconnection within the relationships of the people involved.
Research shows that having strong, close relationships leads to better health and more positive outcomes in life. Regardless of whether you are an individual, couple or family this approach provides a way forward.

I am passionate about enable communities across London to access therapy and gaining a chance towards seeking mental health care. My interests range from reading and cooking to learning something new in the here and now. Life is a work in progress and one can never stop discovering what our environment offers.
I have clinical experience working with presenting issues in clients such as Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Low-Self esteem, LGBTQI+ related issues, Suicidal ideations/Self-Harm, Sexuality, Relationship issues, amongst others. Diversity in clients is something I hold dear and embrace. Diversity in ethnicity, sexual orientation, identity, personality, experiences, gender, to name a few, is something I experience in my clinical practice, and really makes work exciting and stimulating. I welcome my clients to a safe, congruent and non-judgemental space and enter their world, and they will always be heard and understood unconditionally.
Childhood experiences shape a person's inner and outer world, and are crucial for who they are in the present day. Based on this, I work psychodynamically to allow us to explore these formative years on a person-centred level. I approach each client "integratively", meaning I deliver my therapy based on their unique personalities, needs and experiences.

I am a psychodynamically trained therapist. My professional journey has been rich and varied, spanning a career as a Commercial Solicitor and an Executive Director in the not-for-profit sector.
Like many, I have navigated my own life challenges and therapy has been a profound tool in helping me live more intentionally, making choices that align with who I truly am. This personal experience fuels my passion for helping others do the same.
I offer a safe, supportive and non judgmental space, where we will build a trusting relationship to explore what has brought you to therapy. Together, we will unpack your thoughts and feelings, gaining insight into how they shape your decisions and influence the way you live your life.
As a psychodynamic therapist, I believe that many of the struggles we face stem from early experiences that shape how we see ourselves, others and the world. These unconscious patterns can limit our potential and make life's inevitable challenges at times feel overwhelming.
In our work together we will look at those early experiences to understand how past relationships and patterns may have shaped your ways of thinking, feeling and protecting yourself. Sometimes, these early coping strategies no longer serve us well in adult life, especially in our personal and professional relationships.
I won't offer advice or solutions, but I will listen deeply, provide insights and gently challenge certain patterns of thought when appropriate. The goal is to help you reflect on whether these long held ways of being still support you, or whether they may be limiting your potential, by keeping you stuck.
Therapy can be challenging and at times painful, as we work through and process past hurts and difficult emotions. However, the process of becoming more self-aware, of living a conscious, intentional life rather than reacting to old patterns, can be deeply rewarding.
Our work together will be collaborative. In this space, all parts of you can be explored with curiosity and care. Healing past wounds and gaining clarity and agency, can open the door to you creating a more fulfilling, considered, self-compassionate and authentic life.

Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist
From £80 per session
I’m a psychosexual and relationship therapist, offering a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space for individuals and couples.
I know that talking about sex, intimacy, or behaviours that feel out of control can be difficult. People often come to therapy feeling stuck, ashamed, or unsure how things got to this point. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come , we can make sense of it together.
I work with people who are struggling with compulsive behaviours, as well as couples who feel disconnected, caught in the same patterns, or unsure how to move forward. Whether something has just started to feel off, or it’s been going on for a long time, we can begin from where you are now.
My aim is to help you feel more at ease in yourself, and more able to create the kind of relationship, with yourself or with a partner, that feels right for you.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative and grounded in curiosity rather than judgement.
We’ll take time to understand what’s happening for you — not just the behaviour or difficulty itself, but what sits underneath it. This might include looking at patterns in relationships, emotional responses, or earlier experiences that continue to shape things in the present.
If you’re struggling with compulsive behaviour, we’ll work gently to understand what drives it, what it might be doing for you, and how you can begin to develop more choice around it.
With couples, I help you slow things down and really hear one another, especially when conversations tend to go round in circles or escalate quickly. Together, we can begin to rebuild trust, improve communication, and reconnect both emotionally and physically.
I work in a way that is inclusive, sex-positive, and respectful of different identities, relationships and ways of living.

People often come to me when the way they've been living stops working quietly. From the outside things may look fine, even enviable; inside there is anxiety that arrives at 3am, a flatness that won't lift, or a sense that the life you built and the person you are have drifted apart. I work with capable, high-functioning adults: the ones who hold demanding lives together, who others lean on, and who rarely show what it costs them. I see clients in Clapham, near Bank in the City of London, and online, and sessions can be held entirely in English, French or Italian. We begin with a free 20-minute call, with no obligation, so you can get a sense of me and how I work. You can read more at innerspacetherapy.co.uk.
I work integratively, shaping the approach around you rather than fitting you to a method, and the relationship between us always comes first; research consistently finds it to be one of the strongest predictors of how well therapy works. Alongside it, I pay close attention to what happens as we talk, in the room and in the body, and, where it helps, we trace a pattern back to where it began, so that what feels like a personal failing starts to make sense as something learned, and something that can be unlearned. There is no set programme and no fixed number of sessions; we review the work openly as we go. I most often work with anxiety and burnout, low self-esteem, OCD and intrusive thoughts, adult ADHD, relationships, disordered eating, and women's health.

I have been developing an understanding of the human experience through counselling therapy and body based somatic practices for over thirty-five years. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their comprehensive code of ethics. Please follow this link to read more about the code of ethics https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/
I develop a working relationship with my clients which is exploratory and supportive. Working together we employ different approaches depending on your needs. This could include;
• body-based 'somatic' practices - breath work, grounding, hypnogogic, meditation, mindfulness, relaxation, tapping, therapeutic yoga, yoga nidra
• cognitive behavioural therapy CBT – looking at the causes of your difficulties and then being very solution focussed
• person centred – developing a supportive relationship to explore your story and feelings and enable you to build a strong sense of self
• psychodynamic – looking at your history, family history and childhood. Working with how that is impacting you in the present.
I tailor the therapy to fit you the client.
You may have arrived here because you are seeking help or support dealing with some of life’s difficulties.
If you decide to work with me it would allow us to explore your feelings, emotions and thoughts in a confidential non-judgmental environment and help you manage and understand them.

My name is Rosella. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in accordance with their Ethical Framework.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Reaching out for therapy can come from many places—anxiety, confusion, loss, burnout, or a sense of feeling stuck. Whatever brings you here, I would be honoured to listen to your story.
I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support you in making sense of your experiences, helping you deepen your self-awareness, and empowering you to move towards a more authentic and meaningful way of living.
My work is grounded in an integrative, relational approach, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models and tailor the work to your individual needs. At the heart of my practice is the belief that a safe, trusting, and authentic relationship is key to meaningful therapeutic change.
Together, we may explore how your past experiences—including childhood—shape your current thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. This process can help bring greater self-understanding and self-compassion, enabling you to recognise and shift patterns that may no longer serve you.
I work at your pace, collaboratively and respectfully, supporting you to explore your emotions and experiences in a way that feels manageable and safe. With children, I use play therapy as a central part of the work, offering them a natural and creative way to express emotions and experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
When working with couples, I take a more structured approach, supporting partners to develop healthier communication, understand recurring relationship patterns, and build practical skills to navigate conflict and reconnect within the relationship.
Whether you are seeking short-term support or longer-term therapy, my aim is to help you build insight, resilience, and a stronger connection to yourself and others.

I have supported adults, children, and young people with problems such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, personality disorders, psychosomatic symptoms, work stress, and issues related to neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD. My particular interests include working with complex trauma, relational difficulties, psychosomatic symptoms, and the challenges of migration, cultural transitions, and abusive relationships.
I offer therapy in both English and Greek, face to face in London and online, worldwide.

Although I am a Clinical Psychologist, above all, I am human. And as a fellow human, when you come into the room with me, I will sit with you and listen to your experiences. I am deeply curious about how your unique story unfolds over time, not just your symptoms or diagnosis. I won’t rush you. Things take time, life is full of ups and downs, and I want to walk next to you in this journey.
I believe that a new therapy needs to be created for every human being. I work integratively, tailoring my approach to what you need and what feels right for you. I often ask what you prefer, because I believe that therapy should be something we build together, something that truly fits you.
I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Psychotherapy, Systemic and Family Therapy, as well as body-based approaches such as Embodied Psychotherapy and Dance Movement Therapy.
My approach is integrative and relational, with a focus on how past experiences, relationship patterns, and embodied processes shape present difficulties.
Based on your needs, I can offer a range of evidence-based techniques and tools, but I also provide something beyond that; a space for understanding yourself and your experiences. Therapy, to me, is not only about alleviating symptoms, but about listening to what those symptoms may be trying to communicate, so you can begin to live the life you truly want for yourself.
I offer a space that gives permission for feelings to be felt; for sadness, anger, fear, or guilt to surface in as much safety as possible. A space where the dark box of feelings can be opened, and where, in time, you may come to see that it was never as dark as it once seemed.

Perhaps something in your life doesn't feel right.
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low. Perhaps your mind rarely switches off, you're struggling with a relationship, coping with grief or loss, dealing with work or family pressures, or facing a change you weren't expecting.
You might find yourself worrying about the future, going over things from the past or wondering why the same feelings or patterns keep returning. Or perhaps there isn't one particular problem. You simply feel stuck, disconnected from yourself or know that something needs to change.
You don't need to have it all worked out before you come to counselling. We can start with where you are.
I have experience supporting adults with anxiety, stress, panic, low mood, grief and loss, trauma and difficult past experiences, relationship and family difficulties, loneliness, self-esteem, overwhelm and significant life changes.
For me, counselling isn't about becoming a different person. It can give you the space to understand yourself more deeply, recognise what you need and consider how you want to move forward.
My approach is primarily person-centred. I believe you are the expert in your own life, even at times when you may feel unsure, overwhelmed or lost.
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is happening for you. I won't tell you what you should do or rush you towards solutions. Instead, I'll work alongside you, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
You don't need to arrive with the right words or know exactly what you want to talk about. There is no pressure to disclose anything before you feel ready.
I also draw on psychodynamic thinking where it may be helpful. Exploring how earlier experiences and relationships may influence how you feel, respond or relate to others today can help recurring patterns begin to make sense.
Greater self-understanding can help you recognise what you would like to change and what you might be ready to accept about yourself. Sometimes moving forward involves change. Sometimes it involves becoming more accepting of ourselves.
Often, it's a combination of both.
I offer 50-minute face-to-face counselling sessions in West Hampstead at £80 per session and online counselling at £60 per 50-minute session. Online counselling enables me to work with clients across the UK.
I also offer a free 15-minute introductory telephone conversation. This gives you the opportunity to tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. There is no obligation to book afterwards.
Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering individual therapy in South West London and online. My aim is to provide a safe, confidential, and collaborative space where you can make sense of what may be holding you back from living life more fully.
Whether you're feeling low, anxious, or stuck, or have experienced distressing and challenging events, therapy can provide insight into your personal struggles and help you move forward at a pace that feels manageable. I bring a warm, attentive approach, grounded in a wide range of life and professional experience. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds, with a trauma-informed lens to support you through whatever challenges you may be facing.
As starting therapy can sometimes feel daunting, I offer a free initial 20-minute consultation, either by phone, video conference or in person, to answer any questions you may have and help you feel confident in taking the next step.
My approach to therapy is integrative and depth-oriented. I draw on transpersonal, psychodynamic and humanistic thinking, alongside somatic therapy and IFS-informed parts work. This means therapy can attend to the whole of you: mind, body and, if it feels relevant to you, your sense of meaning. My style is non-prescriptive: I tailor our work to your needs and goals and meet you where you are. Rather than focusing solely on immediate symptoms or quick fixes, I aim to support lasting change, helping you build self-awareness and resilience.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is central to the healing process. In a calm, supportive and non-judgmental space, and at a pace that suits you, we can explore both the visible and hidden obstacles that may be holding you back and work towards greater clarity, purpose and fulfilment in your life and relationships.

In 2025, I completed training at the Silent Family Constellation School, founded by Gerhard Wallper, as well as training at Hellinger Schule. MY APPROACH
The focus of the work is on the current situation.
My approach is guided by an INTEGRATIVE APPROACH, meaning I draw from different therapeutic traditions.
Employing a psychodynamic approach to explore how past experiences—particularly early relationships—continue
to influence your thoughts, emotions, and interactions with others today.
Uncovering repetitive patterns and coping strategies that may no longer serve you, helping you make more conscious choices and feel more in control.
The transpersonal approach not only helps in healing emotional pain but also in evolving into a new version
of yourself, one that is aligned with your values, feelings, and deep longings. Your challenges are seen not only
as difficulties, but also as invitations for growth.
I use a trauma-informed approach (Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment developed by Dr Janina Fisher).
It focuses on attending different parts of you — even those that feel reactive, stuck, or self-sabotaging — with
care and compassion. This approach understands that trauma affects both the mind and the body, and helps you feel safer and manage the sense of overwhelm.
Through systemic lenses, I also consider the broader context: your family system, culture, faith background,
and transgenerational experiences, all of which contribute to who you are and how you interact with the world.
Other theories which inform my practice include findings from Attachment Theory, neuroscience, Emotional Intelligence and others.

I grew up in Yorkshire but moved to London in my twenties and love it. I have spent most of my working career in Human Resources but in my early forties I decided to follow my interest in personal growth and trained as a psychotherapist.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist (PG Dip. UKCP) which means I’m able to draw on many different therapeutic approaches in our work together. My main focus is to be present with you, listen and talk things through and that’s what we’ll spend most of our sessions doing. However if you’re open to it, and it’s appropriate for you, there are a number of tools I might use such as EFT, working with dreams, visualisations or working with parts in an IFS informed way.

My name is Elizabeth and I aim to offer a space to clients that is supportive, non-judgemental, and confidential and where clients can feel at ease to share the issues they are struggling with, encouraging them not to feel “different” or “odd” or that “something is wrong with them”, but to realise that struggling at times is all part of being human.
I appreciate that as part of those struggles, we cannot always resolve things on our own and we may benefit from having someone to walk alongside us and to support us in finding optimism and a path back to a happier place and who we really are.
I aim to offer that space.
While therapy is a tool for dealing with struggles, I also believe that therapy is a great space for personal development and simply getting to know oneself better and improving our relationships with others.
I trained as a Transpersonal Psychotherapist which means that as well as an integrative approach to therapy (drawing upon different skills and techniques such as Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Existential, and Cognitive Behavioural), it also involves a holistic considering aspects of the mind, body and soul and looking at someone as a whole. However, I tailor my practice to the needs and wishes of the client, but I enjoy using dreamwork as it is often a more direct route into the subconscious.
I also trained as a lawyer and understand the pressures of working in a demanding environment where perfection is often expected. I believe that my legal training helps me to provide a grounded and contained therapeutic space.
I trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist, but with a Transpersonal focus. I draw on various approaches such as CBT, person- centered, transpersonal and psychodynamic. I focus on allowing a client to find their own voice and improve their view of themselves. A lot of my work tends to focus on building self-esteem and learning to be understand oneself and therefore be compassionate towards oneself.

I’m Kirsty, a BACP-registered integrative counsellor. I offer a calm, supportive space to pause, reflect on what you’re feeling and begin to find some clarity.
You might look like you are coping, while inside you feel anything but.
A mind that rarely switches off, a tendency to second-guess yourself, or becoming so used to putting others first can leave you feeling disconnected from what you need. You may feel anxious, self-critical or exhausted by trying to get things right, while still feeling like you’re not enough. You may struggle with self-doubt or find yourself caught in patterns that leave you unsure how to move forward.
How I work
Together, we can gently explore the patterns that shape how you think, feel and relate to yourself and others. We can take time to understand where these patterns may have come from, how they affect you now, and how they may be influencing the way you see yourself and your relationships.
Perhaps you often put other people's needs before your own, find it difficult to set boundaries, or question whether your feelings and choices are valid. We can make space to understand these experiences without judgement, and consider what you need to feel more confident in yourself and your relationships.
My approach is person-centred, relational and integrative. We will work together at a pace that feels manageable for you, following what feels most important as it emerges. You don’t have to know exactly where to begin. We can start there.
I offer in-person counselling in Wimbledon and Clapham, including walk-and-talk sessions. Online counselling is also available across the UK and abroad.
Get in touch
If something here resonates with you, you’re welcome to get in touch. We can have an initial conversation about what’s been going on for you and whether working together feels like the right fit.
My approach is integrative, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural (CBT) therapies. I blend these approaches in a flexible, relational way, adapting the work to your individual needs and experiences.
I aim to create a gentle, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we can look at emotional distress, relational patterns, trauma, and periods of transition, supporting deeper understanding and meaningful change.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, and challenges around life transitions, offering supportive space to explore change, build confidence, and develop emotional resilience.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and empathic environment where the focus is on you and your unique journey. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with individuals and couples navigating sexual difficulties, intimacy challenges, relationship conflict, and life transitions. I bring warmth and a genuine belief in the innate goodness and agency of every person I work with. I support individuals with a range of issues such as low desire, pain during sex, erection issues, ejaculatory concerns, orgasmic issues, sexual compulsions, sexual & identity exploration, infidelity, CNM, conflict & communication issues. I work relationally, which means the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a space where you can explore patterns, experience being truly heard, and discover new ways of relating. My approach weaves together mindfulness, the mind-body connection, tapping (EFT), and principles from NLP coaching alongside psychosexual and relationship therapy. I am interested in spirituality and how this informs our capacity for intimacy and connection. Qualifications and Experience:

I aim to create a safe, confidential space in my work with clients, in which you can explore and express your thoughts, feelings and emotions from your perspective without the fear of judgement or rejection.
I facilitate this exploration by using empathy. Building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is paramount, in which you feel safe, seen and heard.
I am honoured to walk alongside my clients and witness their journey. I strive to do so with sensitivity and compassion.
My approach is integrative and relational. I use person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. Person-centred therapy focuses on creating a trusting relationship between the counsellor and the client in the present, believing you are the expert on yourself.
Therapy can help you increase your self-awareness and gain access to your internal resources and strengths. Self-acceptance and self-compassion can also make a profound change. I believe as a result, you will develop coping strategies and experience lasting positive changes.
Psychodynamic therapy can help you look at how past experiences may subconsciously impact on your feeling, thinking and behaviour today. By working through, processing painful experiences and emotions, patterns may be identified and you may find the way forward.
The counselling process can help you gain a deeper understanding of your concerns and be more aware of them. Ultimately, this deepened awareness can empower you to make better choices.

I am an accredited member of the BACP, a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner (with specialist training in complex trauma and dissociation), and a Certified EMDR Practitioner.
I offer a therapeutic space that is clinically robust, yet deeply warm and approachable. My path to this work is a bit unconventional: before entering private practice, I spent years as a frontline humanitarian aid worker, a hospital chaplain, a family therapist in a hospice, and a meditation practitioner immersed in deep silence for four years.
What this means for you is that I bring an unshakeable presence to our work. I specialise in the conversations most people avoid. If your world feels like it is on fire, or if you are carrying pain that feels "too much" for a standard clinical room, I am here to hold a deeply grounded space so we can navigate it together.
Because trauma lives in the body as well as the mind and the heart, I do not use a rigid, "one-size-fits-all" script. Instead, I integrate EMDR with IFS (Parts Work), DBR, Somatic, and Sensorimotor approaches to support healing that is both deeply relational and body-based. Drawing further from Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and Mindfulness traditions, I tailor my work entirely to your unique landscape. In my practice in Clapham Junction and online, I work with adults grappling with the long-term effects of developmental and relational trauma—the quiet wounds of attachment—as well as high-impact, acute 'Big T' trauma
Healing requires a space that is unafraid of the darkest chapters. I work alongside you to hold and process experiences that are often the hardest to speak about, including childhood abuse and neglect, domestic violence, coercive control, sexual abuse, rape, and sibling sexual abuse. My clinical focus also covers trafficking, combat trauma, intergenerational, racial, and displacement trauma, alongside traumatic loss, moral shame, borderline personality presentations, and the dissociation spectrum (including depersonalisation and derealisation). These challenging experiences can overwhelm the nervous system, often surfacing as deep anxiety, depression, or relational struggles.
Equally, I provide a fiercely compassionate space for those facing the ultimate thresholds of life. Whether you are navigating a terminal illness, caring for a loved one in their end-of-life stages, or struggling to cope with the aftermath of complex bereavement.
Grief to me is not only the weight of what we have lost but also the quiet, profound ache for what we never had, and the potential of what could have been but wasn't. I offer a space that treats these transitions with immense reverence. And because I know firsthand that our most vital attachments aren't always human, I extend that exact same clinical weight and therapeutic support to people who have loved and lost a pet.
During these trying times, fundamental existential concerns—questions about the nature of life and death, freedom, isolation, and meaning—frequently come to the forefront. You do not have to carry the weight of these questions alone.

My name is Dawn (she / they) & I am a social activist art therapist providing arts psychotherapy & sex positive therapy to adults in West & Southwest London.
At the heart of my therapeutic work, I am grounded in integrative & humanistic theoretical approaches, & specialise in working in a trauma-informed way with individuals with complex presentations & trauma.
The majority of my work is with marginalized & stigmatized individuals / communities (forensic mental health, LGBTIA+ & sex workers).
The aim for therapy is to co-create a space, where you can be your authentic self by feeling seen, heard & understood - no matter the issue or theme you bring, finding ways to empower yourself in your life.
ARTS PSYCHOTHERAPY
The arts are an alternative approach to traditional talking therapy & can provide a deeper insight when it is hard to find the words for your experiences & feelings.
In my sessions, the seven art forms are available for you;
* Art
* Drama / Puppetry
* Sculpture / Clay
* Poetry
* Sand-play
* Music
* Bodywork / Movement
No previous experience or artistic skill with the arts are needed.
As first, the arts might feel weird to use to communicate your needs. To help familiarise yourself with the art materials, I will gently guide you to different media to find the most fitting way to explore your inner & outer world.
SEX POSITIVE THERAPY
In additional to my art psychotherapy approach, I also provide sex-positive therapy & work with sexual problems.
Using a bio-psycho-social theoretical model, I can provide supportive therapeutic interventions to the following areas;
* Gender, Sexual & Relationship Diversity (GSRD)
* Queer sex
* Kink, Fetish and BDSM practices
I can also combine my art psychotherapy practice to provide artistic ways to explore the above areas.
SEX WORKER FRIENDLY THERAPIST
I fully support sex worker rights, safety & decriminalisation of sex work. I provide low-cost therapy to sex workers (short/long term).
NUM packages (x6 funded therapy sessions) with me are available via the National Ugly Mugs website > mental health support > contact casework team.
SOCIAL ACTIVIST THERAPIST
Therapy is political & I do not shy away from social topics in therapy. I recognise the collective distress from global injustices, capitalism, mental health issues, social & cultural oppression may affect you in many areas of your life.
I believe therapy is a great way to explore feelings about your own social injustices, by finding ways to resource yourself and manage the discomfort / hardships this may bring. Through this exploration you may find ethical & creative ways to express this outside the therapy room too.

Welcome to my profile I am a UKCP registered Psychotherapist with over eighteen years’ experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life changes, grief and trauma. Therapy with me offers a space to speak openly about what you’re going through. To recognize that the challenges, questions, and uncertainties you’re facing are a natural part of life. Exploring them together with curiosity and care, while also developing strategies and tools to support you, can lead to greater insight and a deeper sense of ease within yourself.
My approach is relational and integrative, meaning I can draw on different therapeutic approaches to shape our work around what feels most helpful for you. I focus on creating a connection that is responsive to your needs, where you feel seen, understood, and supported throughout the process.
I work with you to help make sense of your experiences and the patterns that may have developed over time and shaped how you feel about yourself, others, and the world. This can include exploring emotions, relationships, and ways of coping that once felt protective but may no longer feel helpful. Together, we create space for reflection and understanding, allowing new possibilities to emerge.
I use aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help you identify patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be contributing to anxiety, or low mood, alongside exploring practical strategies that could help. My work is influenced by an existential humanistic approach, helping you to explore what brings meaning to your life and supporting you to live in a way that feels more authentic to you.
My experience has included working with sexuality and identity, including LGBTQ+ experiences, and supporting people facing complex health challenges or fertility difficulties.

You might look capable on the outside - but feel exhausted, disconnected, or like something is missing. I'm Naomi, a Creative and Embodied Psychotherapist based in London. I offer a weekly space to slow down, tune in, and come home to yourself - through conversation, the body, and creativity. West Hampstead + Online.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be looking for a space to slow down and reconnect with your body and emotions. Perhaps you're carrying grief or trauma and need somewhere to be truly heard. Maybe you're a high achiever who looks capable on the outside but feels exhausted on the inside - tired of holding everything together. You might be navigating an eating disorder, PMDD, or a difficult relationship with your body. Or perhaps you want to understand yourself more deeply - to unravel the patterns beneath your choices, and start making ones that feel more authentically yours.
I work with somatic, embodied and creative arts approaches because words are often not enough. Through connecting with the body and creativity, we can find new ways to understand and make sense of our inner world - accessing feelings that talking alone might not reach.
Sessions might include reflective conversation, movement, imagery, breath, or creative materials - whatever feels right for you. We always work at your pace. There is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready, and no expectation of who you need to be when you arrive.

You may appear capable and composed on the outside while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you recognise a pattern in your relationships or family life but still find it difficult to respond differently.
I’m Jamila Andersson, a UKCP-registered integrative transpersonal psychotherapist and founder of Remember Who We Are Therapy. I work with adults navigating anxiety, low mood, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, chronic illness or pain, grief, life transitions, and questions of identity, meaning or belonging.
Therapy can offer a place to slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface and develop a more trusting relationship with yourself. I offer weekly psychotherapy online across the UK and in person in Paddington, West Hampstead and Islington.
My approach is relational, integrative, transpersonal, trauma-informed and culturally attentive. In practice, this means we can consider your present life, relationships, earlier experiences, cultural context and bodily responses, adapting the work to what feels relevant to you. I draw on psychodynamic, humanistic, Gestalt and transpersonal psychotherapy rather than applying one model to everyone.
A session often begins with a check-in about what feels most present. From there, we might talk through a current difficulty, notice a recurring pattern, reflect on an earlier experience, or pay attention to how an emotion feels in the body. Sessions are primarily conversational, and you do not have to arrive knowing exactly what to say.
Our work is collaborative. I will not tell you who you should become or make decisions for you. We can explore patterns, recognise your needs and consider what greater self-trust and choice might look like in your life.
Where meaningful to you, we can also make room for culture, identity, spirituality, ancestry, dreams and questions of meaning. None of these is assumed or required. I aim to deepen your understanding of where patterns come from while staying connected to the life you are living now.

I am a psychodynamic counsellor, ADHD-CCSP Coach, and Registered Member of the BACP. I hold an MA in Special Needs and Inclusion and specialise in supporting neurodivergent adults and women navigating menopause and midlife transitions.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in recurring patterns, or struggling with changes in their identity, relationships, or sense of self. My approach combines psychodynamic understanding with a compassionate, collaborative style, offering a safe space to explore both current difficulties and the deeper emotional experiences that may be shaping them.
I am particularly interested in helping people make sense of neurodivergence, burnout, masking, identity changes, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My aim is to help clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
I work psychodynamically, helping clients understand the emotional and relational patterns that may be contributing to feelings of overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, identity struggles, or relationship difficulties. Together, we create a safe and compassionate space to explore your experiences at your own pace, with the aim of developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a more authentic relationship with yourself and others.

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and loss. I have a particular focus on bereavement and grief, supporting people through the death of a loved one, the ending of a relationship, major life changes, or shifts in how they see themselves.
I work integratively, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailoring my work to each individual. Our work together can be short-term or long-term, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
Therapy may involve gaining insight into present-day difficulties, exploring how past experiences continue to influence the present, and reflecting on deeper questions of identity, meaning, and purpose.
My practice focuses on building insight and self-acceptance, while also supporting meaningful and lasting change. I aim to help you feel more grounded, authentic, and confident in yourself, both within and beyond the therapy room.

My path has been shaped by displacement: geographical (Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Auckland, Vancouver, London), linguistic (French, English), institutional (clinical psychology, rehabilitation centres, private practice), and, above all, subjective displacement.
Initially trained in Anglo-Saxon psychological approaches and having worked in settings where acute distress calls for urgent interventions (addiction, exclusion), I have, in parallel, entered the Freudo-Lacanian tradition in French over the past decade and now orient my work within a psychoanalytic framework.
Within the transferential bond specific to psychoanalysis, the work consists in sustaining a position that enables each person to encounter what, for them, constitutes a question: their desire, their singular way of being in the world, their repetitions, the mark of signifiers that affect them, and, as is so often formulated, that sense that “things are not going well,” “nothing works,” or “I keep going round in circles.”
I work with adults, in both French and English

With over two decades of clinical practice, I provide specialised therapeutic support focused on transforming suffering into resilience. I specialise in Brief Psychotherapy, treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, offering personalized interventions tailored to each unique journey.
I integrate EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) into my practice—a gold-standard, evidence-based approach for reprocessing traumatic memories and achieving rapid relief from severe emotional symptoms. My commitment is to provide deep, ethical care focused on your mental health recovery and overall well-being.
My approach is rooted in Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic principles, applied within a Brief Psychotherapy framework. This integration allows for a deep exploration of underlying issues and past traumas while maintaining a focused, goal-oriented path to healing. I incorporate EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) when appropriate, facilitating the reprocessing of traumatic memories and providing relief from acute emotional distress.

My interest in therapy is closely connected to my curiosity about people and the complexities of being human. I have a longstanding interest in philosophy, particularly questions of identity, meaning and how we make sense of our experiences. I'm interested in the ways our relationships, personal histories and wider social worlds shape how we understand ourselves.
I'm also interested in creativity and self-expression, and how these can be connected to our sense of identity and place in the world. These interests inform how I approach my work as a therapist, with an emphasis on curiosity, reflection and understanding each person's experience in its own terms.
My approach is psychodynamic, exploring how past experiences and unconscious patterns can influence our present feelings, relationships and sense of self. I am interested in the ways we adapt to life's challenges, sometimes developing patterns that once helped us cope but may no longer serve us.
My background in philosophy informs my interest in identity, freedom and meaning, while my work with people in the creative arts has deepened my appreciation of self-expression and finding one's own voice. I work collaboratively, with curiosity and sensitivity to your individual experience.

I work as an integrative psychotherapist, using psychodynamic therapy to look at how a client’s childhood has shaped their adult reality and using cognitive behavioural therapy to manage thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I am fascinated by why we hold cognitive distortions, where they have come from, and how we can overcome them.
I also have had previous training in Transactional Analysis, a psychotherapy that promotes personal growth, autonomy, and improved relationships by analyzing communication patterns (transactions) and ego states (Parent, Adult, Child).
My lived experience and my professional work in addiction and recovery support my core belief that we all have the capacity to change should we desire to.
I also, fundamentally believe, that active listening and empathy with other’s life experiences are the key to achieving good, therapeutic, relationships. By integrating psychodynamic therapy with cognitive behavioural therapy to explore patterns of behaviour and how thoughts, feelings and behaviour are linked, I believe that successful therapeutic change is possible.
I am an empathetic and supportive therapist who remains focused on professional development.
I am BACP accredited and working towards senior accredition. I work within the BACP ethical framework and engage in regular supervision to ensure I uphold best ethical practice at all times with clients.

You might look like you're functioning, but feel overstimulated, drained, misunderstood, and are masking to meet expectations that never fit. Some clients are newly discovering their neurotype; others are exhausted from burnout or feeling "too much."
Trauma-informed, culturally aware, non-pathologising therapy for those ready to feel truly understood.
Together, we'll nurture self-understanding, confidence, and sustainable change at your pace; honouring your sensory needs, communication style, identity, culture, and unique story.

I trained as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and have additional training in supporting neurodivergent clients.
My approach is integrative and holistic, meaning I draw on different therapeutic models to address your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
I work in a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming way, while also considering how culture, identity, and wider systems may shape your experiences.
I aim to work collaboratively with you, supporting you to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and find ways forward that feel meaningful and sustainable.

Hi, I'm Shu. I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and I work with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, relationships, identity or changes in their lives.
Many of the people I work with are used to being the one who copes, gets on with things and is there for other people. From the outside, you might seem capable and together, while inside things feel very different. You may have spent so long meeting expectations or adapting to what others need that it’s become harder to know what you need yourself.
You might also know what it’s like to feel slightly on the outside looking in, or to feel that different parts of you belong in different places. Sometimes there isn’t one obvious reason for coming to therapy, just a sense that something doesn’t feel right, or that you don’t want to keep carrying on in quite the same way.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. In practice, this means I don’t work to a set formula. We start with you, what’s happening in your life and what feels important to understand or work through.
The relationship we build is an important part of that. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to edit yourself, fit a role or be who others expect you to be. As we get to know each other and trust develops, there can be more room for the thoughts, feelings and parts of yourself that you might usually keep back. And gradually, being able to be more yourself in therapy can make it easier to do that in your relationships outside the room too.
We can also look at where some of your feelings or ways of coping might come from. That might mean exploring earlier experiences and relationships, or noticing patterns that keep showing up in your life now. It’s not about endlessly looking backwards, but understanding how your experiences have shaped you and what you might want to do differently.
I won’t tell you what to do or assume what’s right for you. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on, make sense of the things that have perhaps felt difficult to put into words, and help you find your own way forward.
